instead of going to material and changing the texture there, you can fricking go to textures below the elements tab and set the texture you're working with the main texture. and delete the white texture. unless you need the white texture which i doubt you'll need, you may keep it.
Someone told me i could just replace the default texture and i was completely unaware of that

im actually wondering if its possible to make like a working kimono on modelbench what i mean is like make the rig like benimaru kimono(fireforce)
Some people are able to create some wacky bends and i have no idea how they do it, so perhaps its possible

you could have a bunch of them, with a transparent line texture, spinning at different speeds, a small glowing sphere in the center, etc.

AAAA man I thought he was going to actually go into the mineimator folder and put the mod file in their and boom you have mads but no he made the model from scratch

You gotta make the model itself since we can't do that but it's better moddeling it

That'd be epic
Its probably possible to create a script that will take the minecraft .json model files and convert them into .mimodel files tho
You'd just need to add the bends and all that manually
Idk how code works, but i've seen the structures of both files and its just simple rearrangements and value translations, so it can be read by the other software

Can you actually import mods without model bench?
Nope, like i've said, you need to make them yourself
I've read that wrong - you can still do it only with Mine Imator, but you can't get custom bends and it's gonna be more difficult to get the right shapes without stretching the textures. You'd have to do some math and each shape you'd add would be in the timeline, you couldn't group them into bodyparts

I made a Twilight Forest Ur ghast rig...
It was very painful
Its the same process, just longer
I just explained the tools necessary to achieve any of this, i obviously wont pick the hardest example (since i have a job and my own stuff to do)
But it helps the beginners understand and renews knowledge for more experienced users
If you think it's too easy, you might not be the target audience, but good job on your projects so far! (since you're making more advanced stuff)
