Quick question the red and black Wilson Bear glove at Charlie Rose, I don’t see a Japan palm stamp on it but the tags etc are in Japanese. Any reasoning for that? Thanks

I have had spine injury that leaves me with limited mobility, but i will be playing catch with my son by the time he’s big enough! I have some time, he’s not quite 2 yet. His mom has forbid me from getting him his first motorcycle/ATV for his 2nd birthday….like that will stop my, lol. For the playing catch, I may have to get one of those pitch backs to help me get into shape as best I can beforehand. I haven’t played a inning or pitched a game since the mid 90’s, I can’t believe how much gloves have advanced in some areas but not so much in other… I guess the saying “ if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” is true. With materials that are out there now, I figured they could be paper thin and able to barely feel the ball when it hits the glove from energy absorption properties of some sort. It would be cool to see what a glove of the future could look like. I have no clue what sort of globe I’ll try to get. It definitely won’t be a pro players last season glove. I’ll be doing good to find something at Walmart or Dick’s. Definitely won’t be a custom one as fun as that could be.

Customs can be pretty affordable! 44 pro gloves sells them under $200 and even 20% off around holidays. If you’re looking for the best budget glove, a lot of guys recommend Rawlings R9. It holds up really well for the price!
