I hope AB and Q stick it out a little more. They need time to gel but I feel their chemistry off the roof the first time they come out. Not sure if it's my hopes or reality but they're promising. Q has a lot more to learn but well on his way. AB is still getting used to this partnership. This is almost like a championship matchup!
Compression socks (for arms and legs) are useful to reduce the wear/break down of muscles as they experience trauma. They also help regulate blood flow to the muscles and reduce the build up of lactic acid. They were and still are very popular in long-distance running and have made their way into sports like basketball and now PB. Some socks also are made with materials that reduce sunburn.
@@aljerones99 Thank you, great reply. Are those in fact compression? I didn't know what else to call them. I can understand the UV benefits in the sun, but I wear full sleeve UV fishing shirts. Ben always wears the arm deals
@Cacheola , it really is hard to tell if they are only UV or actual compression socks with UV shielding. Usually, compression socks/sleeves are form fitting. I have a few (from running 1/2 marathons) and my wife has worn hers to help with swelling of the legs on flights. On Quang Duong, I noticed that they are wrinkled on and above his biceps but Ben's seem to fit more tightly. QD is skinny. So, they could have rolled down a bit but he hits very hard and I know that this can take its toll on your muscles.
Feel bad for Bright lol. Her partner just hogs the middle and takes most of the balls versus trusting that his partner that has way more experience at this level can do her part in this game. I understand the forehand gets the middle but Damm seems like the forehand person for men gets the entire court 😂
Anna Leigh is a smart player ( super good player of course) , she knew Quang Duong tried to cover for his partner too much so she attacked his back hand and Quang Duong just ran out of gas to fight against two of the best .
Yes, Bright and Ignatowich are broken up both as partners and in a relationship. They played 2 tournaments together after being broken up but their chemistry was gone and James Ignatowich was not playing as he normally would. Both Ignatowich and Bright are seeking other longtime pickleball mixed doubles partners.
Anyone else think it’s unfair that the 2 best players get to play with each other every single time? Like they should have to switch up teammates to make it more even and make it more interesting
Lmaooo, you're hilarious. The world is unfair and you could be upset and hope that the 2 Best Players of this sport could split up or people could get better and rise to their level.
Why would they split up? These are money earning sponsored athletes. This is their job. Would you trade your partner at work for someone less skilled? Not trying to be snarky, I promise.
@@kabob21of course but it is annoying when they yell/celebrate after every single point. Take the point and move on, win with class and respect. Humility isnt weakness but strength under control….
Great playing BJ and AL
VERY BAD LOGISTICS THAT THE FINALS HAVE TO DEAL WITH SHADOW SUN COURT. shame
thank you for having the side jib shot so we can't see half the court. Y'all need to better directing PPA... please!!
I just want Duong and Bright to win gold. And they will as their partnership grows.

Duong playing 1v2 at the kitchen 😂
Ben has been doing that for a long time with his brother and still won many golds.
This would have been the agreed to strategy of the team. They can opt to tweak it in ongoing partnerships.
ALW playing with her food (QD)
What shoes is Ben wearing now?
HI
Neither of those “ATP”s were anywhere near fruition 😊
Can someone please explain the compression sleeves/leggings?

Duong has no soft game they are destroying him with dinks. He only has 2 shots hard and harder. AWL is giving him a clinic
Duong is a good dinker
What are you talking about? Quang eliminated two of the best dinkers in the game (the Johns bros) at this tournament with CJ Klinger in men's.
Anna Leigh is a smart player ( super good player of course) , she knew Quang Duong tried to cover for his partner too much so she attacked his back hand and Quang Duong just ran out of gas to fight against two of the best .
I wouldn’t say so. I saw this comment and paid attention to dinking, no way. Not in the first game at least.
@@vinhphan406 I noticed this too. ALW's two-handed down-the-line backhand to QD's backhand is nasty.
Boy, I sure do love not being able to see 80% of the court
At 1:40, why was it legal to step into the kitchen area?
There is no kitchen restriction on balls that bounce. Just can't be in the kitchen if taking balls directly out of the air (volleys).
Kitchen is formally known as the "no-volley zone". Can't hit volleys there. Hitting a ball after it bounces is not a volley
Damn did Bright dump Ignatowich?
Most mixed teams switch around partners for different tournaments depending on their schedules

@ no i wouldn’t but this is entertainment also and if you know how the match is gonna end every time then what’s the point of watching?
Why is it that only the women are obnoxious with the yelling after every point they win?
People are allowed to cheer and celebrate why is your criticism so obnoxious?
Men do that too, duong and Ben are mute though. lol
@thegoldenrooster8376 ... but QD does groan a lot as he exerts evergy on his serves and many returns. 😉
