    Michael: Excellent content and explanations. Your tutorials are priceless. Thank you.. I only have one thought. The background music is a bit loud and distracting. Again thank you so much!!

      Thanlks for the comments Geoffery. I do agree about the music. This was all a new adventure for me so I was learning along the way.

    Hi, Thank You for the video! How did you create the "undulating vectors" in your rope link example?

    • @mezalick
      @mezalick  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a series of overlapping circles and a little trial and error.

    • @kelleysislander
      @kelleysislander 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@mezalick Thanks... I ended up making a hexagon for the center points of the concave lobes, and a larger offset hexagon that intersects the 6 circles at the tangent points for the concave lobes, and drew 6 more circles, then used scissors tool to cut away all of the unnecessary vectors. Also a little trial and error ;)

      @@kelleysislander Sounds the a great approach..It's simple once you feel comfortable playing around...

      @@mezalick I know I'm late to the party, but boy I'm having some trouble creating these "undulating vectors". I've been playing around with it for a few hrs and have had some luck, but i'm not satisfied. Would love to see your process on it. If you feel so inclined making a tutorial on this exact thing would be amazing! If not, no worries. Thanks again for this series, it's been incredibly helpful!

    Terrific explanation/tutorial. Just turn the background music down a couple decimals

    • @mezalick

      Working on it, Thanks

    • @bw162
      @bw162 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mezalick It is of minimal importance. Music choice is good. It is just competing with the volume of your voice. Your knowledge and instructions, including the tempo is the best! Kudos!

      @@bw162 I really appricate the feedback. It's my first attempt at this type of work, so I take no offence and look for all suggestions. Glad tyou like what I have to offer.

    Michael, will you pl. cite when teaching any of the tools/menus that are available only in the latest version of Aspire......

      I will always assume that the viewers are using the latest version, But I will make that note in future videos, Thanks

  • @squidskunk
    @squidskunk 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    can this be applied to text..?

    • @mezalick
      @mezalick  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, if I understand your question. This creates components from vector shapes. Now if the text was made into a component then yes..

    • @squidskunk
      @squidskunk 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mezalick .."component"...do you mean convert to curves..?

    • @mezalick
      @mezalick  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

       @squidskunk No, if you make the text into a component you can use that one component to weave over and under itself. But only one component. Just like I did in the video at the 10:00 mark.

    The music is seriously distracting! Not worth watching.
