Thanks so much for all these amazing videos, you do a wonderful job of explaining how Aspire 3D modeling works. My only issue has been finding the videos as they don't run in order and the search engine is terrible for finding your videos. Have you given any thought to creating a playlist so that people could easily find them and watch them in order of progression? I'd love to have that option and I think you'd probably get many more views bc people could stick to your videos rather than searching each time and possibly watching another video bc they couldn't find yours. Just a friendly suggestion, love your videos and I'm grateful to have the opportunity to learn from you!
Thanks Dennis for the comments. The only set of vidoes that follow some sort of logic is the "3D modeling for Newbies" I probably should put a playlist together to help peole out. Thanks for the suggestion.
@@mezalick that's the one I've been following so far, gotten to lesson 6 but struggled for a long time trying to get lesson 7 so that's what made me think of mentioning it as I hope to complete all the lessons one day. But no complaints here I have learned so much from your videos it's worth the search time. You do an incredible job explaining things, thanks again!!!!
Thanks, a lot to take away from this, but I never knew you could apply colors to the components. I always tell my customers that I can't show it on color, or I do separate toolpaths with colors to show the a preview.
Hi Michael, Is it possible to create a custom sculpting brush that removes material, other than using the built-in remove brush? I'd like to be able to take a solid and add texture to it by "scratching" it, much like one would do with a piece of clay and a stiff brush... Thanks again for your nice series of videos!
I've never had much luck doing bitmap traces of coloured images and I think now I see why. I don't understand, though, why it traced a green leaf when you selected only the white part to trace.
It didn't trace the green leaf, just the white background. I just chose the vector around the leaf and deleted the rest. If you want good success don't use a JPG image, use a Bitmap image..in fact use a 16 bit Bitmap.
@@mezalick Oh yea, I just noticed. the pause was too long I thought it was for the entire video. Still, many thanks for sharing the tutorial I really needed to learn those techniques.
Nice you pack alot in a reasonable amount of time thanks again.

Yes, just set the property to subtract.

@@mezalick I think that I understand that. :-) Tks. Tks, too for the advice on using bmp. I most often use jpg.
Why is there sound coming and going?
I don't know Tom, maybe a copyright claim for the background music.....Thanks for lettign me know, I'll look into it
It's unfortunate that the sounds is gone
Thanks, but it's only gone in the beginning, I'll take a look to see what I can do.
