      I met Ernie almost a decade ago at a horror convention in Cincinnati. I had a USMC shirt on and I didn’t realize he was a former Marine as well until he mentioned it. Spoke with him for almost 10 minutes, never rushed me and was so gracious.
      One other thing: we gave each other a “bro hug” goodbye and, holy crap, the dude is built like a tank.

    • @MrBoDiggety
      @MrBoDiggety 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@1stMarDiv4341 wow, i didn't know he was a Marine either. Now, I wonder if he ever went to Vietnam. I think he's about that age.
      My wife and I scheduled to meet him at his time range and we were so late to the show we were running through the arena thinking 'There's no way we're gonna make it'. Despair started to set in. We got there with 1 min left and no one in line. IMMEDIATELY gave him the bro hug. Got our pic hanging on our wall. Best celebrity meeting ever.

    • @4seeableTV
      @4seeableTV 3 ปีที่แล้ว +30

      I don't think you're reading the vibe right. Murray did not get along with Harold for the last couple of decades. It was Murray who thought that Harold didn't know what he was doing while directing Groundhog Day, and that it should be done differently. Harold persisted and the movie is a classic. That never sat well with Murray, and he didn't do anything Groundhog Day related until doing a commercial about the film, but only *after* Harold had passed away. So Murray saying to Seth to move on to something else was more tacky than funny.

    Murray and Peter are quick witted comedians with a "common sense" the others tend to lack.
    Ray and Dan are an odd bunch that absolutely love the supernatural and know their stuff when it comes to it.
