In the bathroom, where under the sink is open, just take a tension rod and a pretty curtain and cover it. A solid color without patterns keeps it from being visual overload. Adhd folks like visual without too much. So impressed with pantry. Yay!
That’s a great idea!! I actually wanted to get in that bathroom this spring and Declutter and get hubby to put doors on it!! A tension rod is a great idea!!
This is another great reminder of how far you’ve come. Also a great reminder of tricks and hacks that work to simplify organising. This ‘best of series’ is great. I hope you are recovering well and accepting all the help that’s being offered and asking for help when needed too. Have a great week. Mary, Joes wife 🙇♀️👏👍💪🙏💐🐈
Hope you are recovering well from your surgery. Spending my day off from work cleaning and doing the weekly shopping. When hubby makes dinner but doesn't clean the kitchen in my defense, I was nauseous all day yesterday.
Nice to see this video again. I love your mantra of “Don’t put it down, put it away”. That simple saying encapsulates advice we all need to hear from time to time, whether we are organised or not. I think you are getting really great at containment of all your different categories of items now; and your organisation skills have strengthened so much over recent the years.
I used to forget to apply whole make up, sometimes forgot the mascara, or the upper eyelid liner, always a step. Now I have in reach only one of everything, in line, so when I finished with the mascara and put it away, the next step is literally next. When I finished the line, make up is finished.
I started doing exactly that but on purpose😂for me personally mascara takes a lot of time to apply and to remove, so I do it only if I am in the mood. Sometimes I do a bit of eyeshadow but with no mascara. I don't care if the world sees my short straight lashes as they are 😂
I've got clusters of products and essentially do the same thing. My concealer, face primer, and foundation are together. Then the eyelash curler, mascara, (and sometimes an eyeliner) are together. Separating out powders really helped me personally ❤️
I use a pill dosit box. Same as you one prescription medication the rest are supplements. I take them all out the box and after I fill the dosit for each day of the week I then pop it back in the box. I do this once a week and then daily I just have one flap to open to take all the meds. It saves me time and means the meds can go away and I just have the dosit box in eye sight. 💖
Hey my lovely friend! I love love your tips! I have been attempting my ideal spaces to be clutter free! It doesn't always work as fast but I am taking my time! Thanks for great tips! Tfs! Hugs & Many Blessings!❤️🌟🏡🌟💕❤️🌟
I asked hubby to order that same magnet for our DW & what a game changer! It has made a HUGE difference in our full household keeping us all on the same page!💜
Thank you so so much my friend ❤️🙏🏼❤️ I am recovering slowly but surely!!! We have a new video for tomorrow Friday 2/23!!! Tyler is doing all the Decluttering and I’m his cameraman!! lol
Hello, Miss Heart. 😊 Today I heard someone use the phrase “hoarding their emotions” which I had never heard before. I suppose I have been doing that, because I was ridiculed for expressing mine. I also don’t want to feel my feelings sometimes when they feel so big, like I will get carried away. I wonder if you could make a video about a person “hoarding their emotions” and how to undo that, if it resonates with you. You articulate this sort of thing well. Thank you for all you do.
What a wonderful idea my friend!! We definitely hoard our emotions because we don’t want to feel the hurt…so we suppress it wayyyy down within ourselves into this “emotional box.” I always said that my physical hoard was the physical manifestation of everything I felt inside!! I will definitely do a video on it once I feel better 🦄💜🙏🏼🌟💕
I don't even have ADHD and your "Don't put it down, put it away" have helped me so much!!! You are the most lovely helpful person!
Me too
That’s awesome!!! I’m so happy that helped you too!!! 🦄💜🌟🙏🏼
"Don't put it down - put it away!" is my daily mantra! I will also tell myself *out loud* what I'm doing so I don't get (too) distracted!
Look at your lovely Kitchen! I clean as I go when cooking.
That’s definitely the best way to do it!! Clean as you go!!
