Clean sweep for the south...Man really enjoying all the games..Props to Argentina,Aussie and the Boks..can't wait for 🇫🇷 France that's gonna be the acid test for The Abs...lets go...
Right?! I’m putting out a video tomorrow about the southern hemisphere running the table.
I agree completely about France. With DuPont back they look a totally different side to the middling strugglers we saw in the 6 Nations.
Actually quite pleased for the Aussies (which is not a common occurrence lol). That final play against England was ballsy 👏🏼
I shall be watching it J and as I've previously said
Roigard=Dupont can't wait.........As for Aussie biggest props to them as I didn't see that coming😊
All Blacks got it in the bag! From a South African.
Bladdy love those New Zealanders ❤😂
@@razeenmeyer9728Thanks for the comment and back at you for the England game..Up the South😊😊😊
LOVE YOUR SHOW J!!! YOUR ENTHUSIASM IS COMENDABLE!! KEEP IT UP!
Thank you!!!! The Bokke aren’t my team but I do enjoy seeing the game of rugby played well and the South Africans do that reliably 👏🏼 Credit to Scotland too, they fronted up today.
I’m happy with this win. It’s the perfect start and build-up to the game next week, a game that was always going to be the biggest game of this 3 match tour. I believe some players got another chance to get some game time, and our rested players will be able to make a fresh contribution against England. In terms of performance, we were clearly a little off the pace, our discipline was not up to standard. But, this win is perfect as it doean’t create any complacency with the Boks. Rassie said afterwards that he’s happy with the win, the effort, but not some aspects like discipline and excecution. It could be a recipe for the perfect storm this Saturday at Twickenham. I also think most fans would be unrealtic to expect the Boks to blow away a team like Scotland considering how many changes we made to our last team that played in Mbombela.
Very well written comment! I agree it’s ideal. Still a convincing win, yet it shows plenty of work ons to keep the players hungry. 👏🏼
Remember Kwagga is impactful from the bench ..he was only placed as starting line up in this game because it was his 50th test match and when there are milestones like that then Rassie will always start a player than let them play from the bench...The Springboks players selected for this game are not the team that will be selected for an England game..we weren't pleased with the selection but guess you need to give guys game time too
Agree. Kwagga should have started at 6 and Hanekom at 8. Van staten has been very disappointing this year. I saw alot of our old habits in this game (ball watching) which lead to turnovers.
Yeah. I’m a massive fan of his. Even I have to concede now based on what I’ve seen that he is simply superior off the bench and for some reason doesn’t sustain that impact over 50-80 minutes. Hell of a bench weapon to have tho!
The 7-1 split did backfire this time, 9 was a horror show but he couldn't take him off cos he only had one back on the bench, so we had to sit through Jaden's horror show
That’s fair and I was perhaps a little kind on him. Similar to Cortez Ratima from NZ who had a horror show in the first half against Ireland, I feel the opposition was making life hell at the breakdown at times. It is more than just the halfback responsible for that, but I believe your view is reflected by many South Africans. 👏🏼
Goeie Bespreking! Ek dink SKotland was baie goed! Sien uit na England wedstryd! Groete!
Thanks for watching! I’m also excited for England/Boks! England have something to prove but Boks are looking ominous in my opinion.
Congratulations South Africa solid win against a tough Scottish team at home.really interesting to see who rassie picks for the England game,South Africa won't be taking England lightly
No they won’t! I think PSDT and Siya will start for sure and Kwagga will revert to the bench.
Go Southern hemisphere....go!!! The ABs have to do a job on the French.
Easier said than done with DuPont back in the fold! 😬 but if the All Blacks can get the job done, this will be one of the most impressive couple of weeks in recent All Blacks history
They have an opportunity now to make a HUGE statement. Fatigue will be a factor so Razor might actually need to make some tactical re-arrangements.
@@JulianShawofficialWhile that's true, they weren't as great against Japan as I thought they'd be. I mean, our clumsy second string side put up a similar score.
Taylor and Barrett have recovered, so we can bring them back in. DeGroot is still available, and with Darry injured and a lock spot open... bring in Holland 🥺
Amua has been kicking it for the last two weeks....Leave a winning team as it is and Baudie and Codie as impact I think....Holland as lock insurance..I would love that...
Think I can speak for most Saffas that we will be 100% behind the ABs agianst the French...
As an SA, I’m not convinced about 7/1 split. Jayden is not yet back to international standards. He was slow and indecisive. Rassie was hamstrung in bringing Grant out because of the split. GW made a huge difference when he “finally “ came on
I think Rassie has been fortunate so far with 7/1 but in a game against a top 5 side, a couple of injuries to the backs could see them being outflanked in the backline.
Also, not just being sycophantic here, but as a kiwi I consider your backline so good these days that it’s a shame not to have at least a couple of backs on the bench.
Straight-off; JH should NOT be selected as a Bok as we have several Scrummies available who are more than capable and play well above his continued low-level standard .... This being the exact same as how he also plays for the Sharks .... Spends more time with histrionic gesticulating than concentrating on the ball and / or the importance of his linking position ! 😡💩🪰
Howzit : Excellent post-game summary / review; mate ! 🤙🏉💫💥🇿🇦🏴
Couldn’t disagree more about Jayden. I thought his distribution was excellent. The ball was searing hot at times and generally very quick. His box kicks were excellent too, as usual. He played really well. The Scots defence was very good, they showed up physically and their backs are very good too. Pollard played well but some of that defence needs work.
Great analysis, it was a good game.
Great analysis as always
Thanks so much for watching and the kind words.
you may just have the best Rugby show out there .Its inline with modern rugby thats for sure .Some just dont read the game correctly .
Honestly I’m speechless. That’s high praise but I really appreciate it. 🙏🏼 definitely motivates me to keep doing what I do!
Ref performance was best of the year.
Great video 👏. Yeah Scotland took a leaf out of Glasgow Warriors book, play ultra aggressive and bully the big South African forwards. I think the 9 and 10 positions are key for a 7-1 split. Libbok at 10, Grant Williams at 9 for England will be great for going again 7-1, with Pollard on the bench.
Good call about the Warriors. When the Scots muscled up and slammed into the breakdown in the second half they looked great! Really it was just a lack of finishing that proved decisive.
Love your video! 🎉
Thank you so much! I’m a die hard All Blacks fan but I actually really enjoying watching and analyzing Bokke games. It is less stressful and easier on my heart! Haha
Video about the wallaby win?
I’m going to talk about the Southern Hemisphere rout in a video tomorrow and will give my thoughts on the Aussie victory! ✌🏼
@ yay! 🎉
Absolutely fantastic - Wallaby win!
Australia won???? 🤔
@@PaulTerry-l8x best game of the year for me...
My opinion is that Rassie is experimenting... Preparing
Yes, I think he respected Scotland but kept one eye on England at Twickenham with his selections.
BOKS suffered due to Jayden slow ball. The backing will have all there power back next week and I hope Cameron gets a run. Perfect time to ruffle him up against a strong team
I am distressed by number of TMO initiated penalties in games these days. IMO the game should be played and officiated ON THE FIELD! Some bloke with 6 or 8 slo-mo views of an incident calling down after an on field decision is terrible for the game. The on-field assistant refs can bring an occurrence to the sir and the sir can ASK for TMO assistance. Additionally a captain may ask the sir for a TMO review of a call.
If the TMO wants to be the official give him a bloody whistle and put him on the pitch otherwise keep quiet and wait until your opinion is requested!
My opinion Springboks played 💩 From a Springbok supporter
We always hardest on our own team!
Lots of room for improvement. Always good to get the W when you’re not at your best tho.
We made things difficult for ourselves. Could've put +50 on the board if it weren't for the +15 handling errors.
Yes, well said. You just felt there was a bit of (understandable) rust in the South Africans and that actually contained the scoreboard to a degree.
You should come work at supersport my brother great video
Man, I’d love that! My documentary about the All Blacks ‘Cup of Dreams’ aired on SuperSport. Great network.
Bit scrappy from the Boks but I will take the win. Some kind of magic voodoo from the Scots in the first half of the second, esp in the backline - so quick and crazy passes! That's where we could of lost it. We take England next week! 🇿🇦
Yup, Scotland fronted especially in that magical second half spell where they were simply on fire. Bokke will be much better for the hit out tho and rust shouldn’t be an excuse next week. Bring on England!
Don't forget the Boks were also rusty when Ireland toured SA and they, the Irish just about got away with a win....drop goal actually
We had the answer to whether kwagga can start back against ireland ...he just can't do it
I still kept the faith because of how good he was against the ABs! But I tend to agree… somehow his skill set just doesn’t translate as well when it comes to a longer stint on the field. A little perplexing.
@JulianShawofficial it's frustrating because of how good he is
Scotland were awesome. Played out of their skins. Won the breakdown, imo. Courageous on D. How often do you see Elizabeth driven back in the tackle? They just couldn't get through, around or over the Bokkes D.
They showed up big time attitudinally. Were phenomenal in that second half spell. Lack of finishing hurt them, but they achieved parity in many other aspects.
Kwagga is not a starter true
Phenomenal player. But for some reason so much better off the bench. 🤷🏼♂️
Viva Southern Hemisphere teams...bruhh...that was our second time...most of first team players rested
Yup. Great depth in SA! Think you’ll see the superstars on the bench start against England next week.
💪
Jaden was the weakest link. Felt sorry for him
Torrid time at the breakdown but not one of his best performances, that’s fair to say.
Siya swollen eye before the game????
Looked more swollen after!! Some big hits out there
I think his ex hit him.😜
He bumped into PSdT when on the way to the loo.
@@johanstruwig3815 Maybe he got it in SA already... 😉
Well, that was rather predictable result. Only Wales are worse.
I didn’t really see how Scotland was going to put together the tries they’d need to score to win this.
Not a fan of the 7/1 split. 6/2, I'll entertain.
Think 6/2 is better. Plays to your unique forward depth but also gives just a little breathing room for back injuries or if a back is having a shocker.
The Bokke played badly. Yet they scored 4 tries. What will they do when they are playing completely on song?
Beat the all blacks 35-7 I recon....
😂😂😂
That’s exactly right. A sub par performance in a few regards but good enough to get the job done against a solid 6 Nations side. Sometimes it is pleasing to get a win even when not at your best.
Love Tom Brady!! But he famously never had to run.. Just stand and deliver. Gridiron is also very stop start with time to catch breath. Unfortunately also South Africa has flipped or showing what's always been there- racist black South Africans who are not true supporters always baying for a white player to be replaced by a black player any time they have an average game.
Definitely. The sports are very different in that regard. TB12 only had to do short sporadic bursts of high energy running in the pocket. I think the care he took of his body is a lesson for athletes in other codes tho and they have watched and learned. If TB12 (admittedly the GOAT) could make the NFL playoffs at age 45 I do feel a footy player can still be in good form in their mid to late 30s. Nutrition, recovery, mobility, that dreaded buzz work ‘pliability’ - these practices are adding years to a players career. We have already seen players like Jonny Sexton hitting 38 while remaining in top form. I think Willie le Roux from SA and Beauden Barrett from NZ can get to 2027.
Hendrikse was useless as usual…but a good win. Even a good performance by the NH ref….
All the “BIG” names in the 6Nations (xcept France) got put in their place by SH. Rugby strength clearly still in the South!!😂😂
William made a huge difference when he came on.
What do you think Rassie sees in Hendrickse? Just reading through my comments, he is more unpopular with South Africans than I realised!
@@JulianShawofficial .. Rassie may have seen some potential and is giving him opportunities to realise this potential. But there has been very little growth in his play and Faf, Reinach and Williams are proving themselves much better options. Hendrikse has now been given enough grace…
