To make spring rolls you need spring roll wrappers, Kay. If you can't find them in the shops, you can get them online, they're not expensive. You also need a good dipping sauce. That would've made a great video, proper spring rolls and a home-made dipping sauce. Why do you only make one element to a meal?
I find cooking with mushrooms difficult because they absorb all the oil in the pan. I suggest cooking the mushrooms first. If you cook them long enough they will release all of the liquid they absorbed so you can then cook the onions together in an oiled pan. And you can’t burn or overcook mushrooms easily so there’s no downside to putting them in early. Hope this is useful.
Kay I loved this video! You should look in the Asian section of the grocery store for somthing called wonton, or spring roll wrappers. Those are what's normally used.
She is such a great cook. Just look at the lovely oily pan fried noodles, bean sprouts and honions. Cooked as per video like usual, with no additives. Like sauces, herbs, spices & seasoning. Ummm
