It hasn't seemed to be anything I've noticed and it's held up well over the years. Maybe I have enough tongue weight to minimize the play that you pointed out? Another hitch I just reviewed is at this link here... th-cam.com/video/Bb0H-mgzgd/w-d-xo.html You should check it out and share your thoughts. I'm very impressed with it. Thanks!
@@MarkThomasBuilder i have one and a car ran into my rear end well lets just say my hitch is un blemished but the car that hit me needs front bumper among other parts
What I want to know is how it really handles up against the weight and big temperature swings. It hasn't been uncommon around here in the spring and fall to see below freezing temps in the morning and over 100F in the afternoon.
Wow, those are some crazy temperature swings. So far this hitch is holding up well. I've hauled some heavy firewood in my 16' landscape trailer. I haul trailers in the winter snow and 90 degree summer days.
"Ooo check this out" ie. Squirrel!!
oh wow, ewww ahhh, incredible... best 5 minutes I have ever spent...having a coke zero right now....raise the roof!!!!!!
That's cool!😎
That looks like a lot of play @ 7:50 mark.
I would think you’d feel and hear all the slop?

How would it hold up getting rear-ended
It's very tough!

@@MarkThomasBuilder Thank you for the information!
It’s billet aluminum lol.. temp
Doesn’t do anything to it
Since this doesnt have any anti-sway functions, have you had any issues with sway on your tow vehicle?
I haven't had any issues. I pull a 10' dump trailer and a 16' landscape tandem axle trailer.
Hi! Is the composite nylon cap makes the towing smoother or it’s only a greaseless feature?
It's a greaseless feature, which is replaceable if it ever wears out.
1:51 this is the reason why I watch TH-cam
You never know when things are going to take a right turn, lol!
Does the hitch have much play that creates a rattle when being used.
Not that I've noticed.
How many tow hitches do you currently have? Could you get by with just one Andersen Rapid Hitch?
going with the 6" drop. thx
I'm getting by with the 4" drop, but probably should've gone with the 6" drop. Good choice!
