    THIS STORY:
The 1912 disappearance and dismemberment of eighteen-year-old Ella Barham in Boone County was one of the most gruesome events to occur in northwestern Arkansas in the early twentieth century. The incident has intrigued people for decades. The perpetrator was caught, tried, convicted and hanged. But some believe the wrong man was sent to the gallows for the crime.

The Angel face you see is the Haserot, named “The Angel of Death Victorious". The stoic angel is seated on the marble gravestone of canning entrepreneur Francis Haserot and his family. Holding an extinguished torch upside-down, it represents a symbol of life extinguished. Wings are outstretched and the gaze is straight ahead.
IN THE END, DEATH ALWAYS WINS. LEST THE FACES NOT BE FORGOTTEN...
This channel is focused on casually walking and viewing a handful of the thousands of forgotten names and faces at various cemeteries near and afar. Seeing their faces up close. And when able, telling the stories behind their names.
Most graves are unknown and lost to history.
    Some are famous.
    And some infamous....
    ....and some with tragic endings.

Thank you again, Ron, for traveling to Arkansas and making this video about my cousin, ELLA BARHAM ! Because of you, paperback books of Remembering Ella are **SOLD OUT**! lol I have a few more arriving next week, but the central warehouse has no more books, which means Amazon and other resellers who are currently out of stock must wait for books to be printed and shipped to the warehouse (which, by the way, is the Chicago Distribution Center) before they can get any! Amazon does have a couple paperbacks left from 3rd party resellers, but apparently no others. PLEASE NOTE that EBOOKS and the AUDIBLE AUDIOBOOK ARE currently available - it's only the paperback version that is temporarily out of stock. This should be remedied in a week or so. Glad you made it home safe!!

It’s so SAD, that there’s always been so much violence throughout this land! We as a country lives by the Sword. Because in the Sword we trust. Whoever responds, please don’t attack me, or cool off for about 10 minutes, then you won’t answer with anger. Because I love my country, but we need to know why this land seems to be cursed with violence. Also, if you don’t believe there’s a God, we won’t ever agree and shouldn’t try to debate. Time , it's passage is not the same for all entities in the universe , Example ;; When kind and empathetic entities travel here ,
I suppose maybe just on missions of viewing other life forms , their technology enables them to view our history .
So , as they view the countless genocidal campaigns , they find us unapproachable. And as far as time ,, Hitler , Stalin and
other major genocide campaigns are judged as a discredit to all humans , then and now.
---------- As far as time , 100 years ago,, is but a microsecond in their eyes .
They have made the decision that nothing constructive could be had by them openly disclosing that they are here ..
---------------------------------- Plus ,, The clock of humanities extinction event has already begun ..
------------ ONE QUICK NOTE .. Has anyone noticed that after the first above ground nuclear bomb test in 1945 ,, is when
reports and sightings began ?? Plus Roswell. Yes ,, I believe our nuclear tests got the attention
of our neighbors far across space ..
I heard it said ,, the Earth will cleanse itself .. All manufacted , will be wiped from the Earth ..
Funny , they say , one of the last items left after 10,000 years , will be stainless steel sinks .
But , say ,, 750 millions of years from now , any evidence of humanity will be erased .
Now THAT is some heavy - duty reality right there .

My Grandparents weren't born when this happened. Before hearing this story, I honestly would not have thought of a dismembered body. I now realize that true evil existed since the beginning of time. She was wanting to make a hat. That struck me deeply. She was simply enjoying her time to do a project, of everyday living ,when evil struck. How precious each and every day is to us. How dark the emotions of anger, hatred and un-forgiveness can bring upon a human soul. Thank you for reminding us of how not to walk.

Well, dang, you're only about an hour from me. Have you ever heard of Enon, Ark? It is one of the towns buried back about 1957 when they damned the river and created Table Rock Lake. Enon cemetery is still left on the hill above where the town was below... Waaay back in to get there by road, but easy by boat and we can see the trees (cemetery hidden by them) from our home. Thanks for the story, may have to try and get down that way to visit it. Sad story indeed.

Thank you Ron for sharing Ella's story, my Great Grandmother was a cousin to Ella. Her maiden name was Barham and was close to Ella's age when the tragedy occurred. My Dad ran across this story when researching the Barham family several years ago and found it to be like opening Pandora's box. You can imagine how shocked one would be finding this story in the family history, which at the time was closer to handed down tales and myths. It wasn't until Dad connected with Nita and her book that he was able to understand the events as they happened in 1912. While there are many deaths in those days due to disease or accidents you just don't run across stories like this, at least not in our family. I appreciate your respect and compassion in telling the story of Ella and her family, it's very fitting to the way that Nita presents in her book.
