I bought a R7 just over a week ago. Avoiding interstates it was 70 miles and nearly two hours ride back home from the dealer. I didn't have any notable discomfort and I'm 58 years old. I'd been riding a R3 for the last year and two hours riding would have been felt in my butt more; on the R7 it was felt more in the shoulder blade area, hardly any in the butt. I've got about 190 miles on the R7 now and really like it. Still have the R3 as well.
@ I have never owned or ridden one, but I was only mentioning what a few others that own the bike have said. Maybe they are not too well gifted in the buttocks area and whining that it’s the seats fault! So, as a topic of conversation, I thought I would mention that. Thanks for your reply. 😎🏍️💨🇺🇸✌️
Advantages of being a citizen of the first world, this would be such a sweet commuter. If it is a little uncomfortable then I would swotch back and forth with am SV. But man that black paint is golden.
I'm used to yamaha braking since when I am with my r3 before until I got r7 and tried mt09 and mt10 and all of them have the same feeling and also tried the kawasaki line up where their breaks are sharp and has a good feeling..however I like the yamaha feels in terms in cornering doing trail braking giving me a more stability compare with the kawasaki and other bikes I tried...
Not only would it be a fun track bike. It Is a great track bike. In fact, WorldWCR (the WSBK series for women) is an R7 only class. And it's a great series. ❤❤👏👏.
Hi, thanks for all the videos, do you still have your response video to the fortnine " You're Leaning the Wrong Way" video, was having an argument with a mate and I remember watching both but cant find yours anymore. Thanks (has any of your response changed as I can remember most of it for myself)
@@jakejudson8578 I agree if you are not that tall the seat height and torque is not friendly specially the ergo..I suggest got first on a comfortable bike..
Love these bikes. Can you comment on the low speed fueling (say accelerating from 2 up to 10mph)? I’ve ridden a number of smaller cc bikes and at low speed some feel jerky as if the chain has too much slack
in my experience with my r7 it requires a bit of maintenance in every ride because of how torquey it is checking the chain is a must if its not properly set you will feel that delayed jerk..anyways the responsiveness is so addicting and satisfying in every throttle..
Your Yamaha brake section is just nonsensical. Just because you don't have the "initial" bite you keep speaking about isn't going to get you in an accident. If you're hitting the brakes to avoid an accident, you're going to find those brakes.
Another old bike review back by popular demand instagram.com/motojitsuclub/
I’ve heard numerous complaints about the seat comfort after an hour or two on the R7. Especially in the lower spine and hips.
Takes getting used to I presume.
I think sitting down in any vehicle starts to suck and hurt after 1 or 2...

Do you have a new camera? Remove the polarized protection from the lens, this might be the reson for not seing the screen on video.

Great stunt bike too
Eventually my bike 🎉🎉
would squishy brakes be more helpful for trail braking? just having that squishy feel may help with gradual braking

if you are going to ride the r7 you have to ride the rs660 next the rivals of the super twins.
Can you show us how to adjust settings
did you not know about the r9? Yamaha has it. I don't know if any are on sale yet but they do have a couple demo bikes out and about.
Earliest R9s go on sale in the states is around March I believe. Going to be hard to get anyone on a demo bike

didnt you have an mt07 as a track bike then when told to get an r7 you dismissed it?
Beautiful bike , is good for first bike ?
That's a personal decision, I'd say no but that's me, you should start riding right after you learn to ride a bicycle.

RS660/Tuono660Factory review please
I'm thinking to get this badass too 🤞🏽
Random request. Can you find someone with a 2004 cbr600rr and review that? I have one and would appreciate your comments.
