Happy to see you all enjoy Filipino food. I just remembered when we had a boodle fight meal in a 12 foot table, was truly a fight that it was finished in just 5 minutes. We were about 20 doing a military training for officers and had this boodle fight, nobody even had a chance to sit down, all you can see are our hands grabbing the food. The officer in charge got surprised and told he did not even notice it was finished already, it was just like a storm that passed by.

That coconut wine does have alcohol. If they gave you a pitcher of it - it will give you a buzz. It is called Tuba. It is sweet sap extracted from coconut flower. It ferments very quickly. In 2 to 3 days it could become vinegar already. In the provinces they add powdered red bark from mangroves. So it becomeqs reddish or orange in color.
