This song is off the charts. Those bars about the blood clot in his chest are probably the hardest bars this year from not only any UK rapper but from ALL rappers. American fan here!
American fan here: holy shit that was one of the best tracks I’ve heard this year. Didn’t have an issue understanding. That bar about praying in case he has to sin, top 3 bar this year.
Another US fan here! This was my first time ever hearing Bugzy Malone, but based off this alone i’m a new fan. The subject matter, the delivery, the aesthetic of the video, and the rawness of this is top tier. If I wasn’t paying attention the accent could be a little hard to decipher but overall it took nothing away from this track in the slightest. Definitely kept my attention the whole time and i’ll be looking for more projects of his soon
The way bugzy can have you feeling what he was feeling in the moment and put you in his shoes with just words is unmatched in the uk! Proud to be from Manchester with someone like him leading the way
Long time American Bugzy Malone fan he brings to tracks that so many people in the states can't bring he's as honest with himself as can be he let's you see his flaws so he can flip them into a great comeback story on almost every track. bugzy malone is the kind of artist that even if he doesnt blow up in the states he will go down in history as a GOAT. Big Up 0161💯
Watching from the U.S and I gotta say that someone like Bugzy Malone, will always be good in the music game. Especially now that there is a lack of essence in most of today’s music. I genuinely feel that all of that is past us and now real music like this will see a revival
To admit to “ my mummy used to sell herself” ... then later reveal “when my mummy made a customer into my daddy I nearly didn’t (suicide)”.... that is hard. Awesome track and great reaction !
I'm watching this video. U.S. hip hop fan for 35 years. And yes this is phenomenal. I've watched a lot of reactions to this track and yours was the best and captured my feelings/thoughts the first time I heard this song.
As a New Yorker who loves hip-hop mans snapped. No way around it. Regardless of accent, gender, nationality when someone spits like this you have to respect it 🔥💯
American Hip Hop Fan here: For this track specifically, i can understand him pretty easily if im focused on lyrics and not video. In general, Bugzy is harder to understand with his accent and especially the slang he uses. Once you listen to several of his tracks, you start to get an ear for it and you pick up more. For a generic rap listener in america, not gonna lie, i think Bugzy is real hard to understand. I think someone like Dave could become really popular in US cause he's super easy to understand and... well, he's Dave.
Kano was the first I listened to who was really easy for me to understand. Then watching reaction channels and learning the song more helped pick up the heavier accents.
US fan here and new subscriber; this is one of the first songs ive heard out of the UK that really hits me, such a remarkable song.🤘🏻 Definitely see it blowing up over here!
recommend these story telling/motivation tracks from bugzy: san andreas mentality, beauty and the beast, childhood memories, make or break, moving, M.E.N etc jus to name a few
im from birmingham, alabama and I LOVE BUGZY. We dont have many storytellers in rap in the U.S anymore and its sad. Hard beat and autotune is all we get anymore. There's a chick named SG ALI you should hear.
Canadian Fan Here: Luckily on one of my family sides I have British heritage, and have relatives who speak with heavy accents, slang, etc. I find Bugsy in a lot of his actual tracks/records is very understandable for the average Canadian/American. However in a lot of his freestyles and stuff he incorporates a lot more slang which can make it tougher. But honestly, I got Bugsy Malone in my Top 10 worldwide right now probably Top 3 UK, absolute banger
I had the same reaction mate when that dropped it was fu*$ing insane, I had to listen over and over just been telling my mate about this track n thought I’d check some reaction vids. So far one of the best genuine reactions can tell you took it in its mental this shit got me emotional man 😂
Top reaction, so much genuine emotion and love for the king of the north. I would request a reaction to Bugzy....San Andreas Mentality but even if u just listen. Is a top, top classic of his
Midwest in the US. I only fuck with about 5 rappers now a days. Eminem Yelawolf JayKae Bugzy Malone and AITCH. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻. Love your channel. Keep up the good work
You should react to other bugzy tracks childhood memories, evil genius, men 1 and 2, beauty and the beast, fitb 1 and 2 also next level aswell guys got so many powerful tracks.
Yooooo. I know it was a long way back but remember when you listened to Doris you said you would get to Vince Staples, I would love if you could fit that in man! Summertime 06, Big Fish Theory, Prima Dona, are all amazing projects!
anyone else get a through the wire vibe from this, that soul sample and talking about recovering from a life threatening injury. Instead its British and much nastier sounding, Bugzy's outdone himself again!!
Bro I was thinking the same thing when I heard it, same vibe and the pitched sample make me think Kanye. You can hear in his voice that he's still not right and that reminds me of Kanye rapping with his jaw wired
Have a video with all three JID features yesterday; Cereal with IDK and Kenny Mason, Lockdown remix with Anderson.Paak, Noname, and Jay Rock, and Roots with Aminé and Charlie Wilson... or do Cereal as a single
Nice reaction, you should listen to Mangers on McNichols by Boldy James. It's only on band camp but it's one of the best rap albums I've heard this year
As an American, none of your/their accents are difficult to understand if you actually want to understand. The hardest part is the combination of accent and unfamiliar lingo and slang.
Hey man I think I remember you saying you were a fan of Lost in Vegas a while back so I'm assuming you also like watching reactions on youtube. If you haven't watched any of his stuff yet I really recommend Stevie Knight, I think you would like his reactions a lot.
I'm not sure if you'd cover this genre of music because it's not so much lyrical but in your own time listen to BRONSON, ODESA and golden features colab album. It's very similar to rufus
Bugzy doesn’t miss on MEN tracks
Bugzy malone doesn't miss
Maybe recency bias but this is the hardest one yet 🔥 don’t do it like that Bugzy 🔋
Jon the only reviewer whose reaction is smart, genuine and trustworthy
How you going to do LeetotheVi dirty like that?
MS Electrical that’s what I was gonna say
MS Electrical Rate the CASISDEAD profile pic
Leetothevi
walkz doesn't miss a bar tho
I’m from US. This is j. Cole level story telling. The way he got into his memories and made us feel there. That’s what Cole does to me. Great song
Listen to closure by cadet.
King of the north for ya

Dave-Lesley best storytelling track you will ever hear 💯

Wow... That was truly something else. On another level. That was unbelievably honest.

Well said 👏
From Manchester too...so proud he's representing 0161!!!
Oh man i'd be so stoked if you did a reaction to King of the north or B inspired!!
King of the North still one of the best British albums to date
Yasir Rasheed 💯
Canadian here. Not sure what I was expecting, but that was better than I thought that was gonna be. That was some kinda powerful.
Same man, this year feels like a special one for rap. So many talented people coming through or getting out of prison. Real shit is back 🙏🏼
I’m from the Canada all can say that this was wow 😯
Im from the US and thought I could never get into a British rap artist, but I am blown away
Hate to see that this only has 10k views. US fan here to support all
To admit to “ my mummy used to sell herself” ... then later reveal “when my mummy made a customer into my daddy I nearly didn’t (suicide)”.... that is hard. Awesome track and great reaction !
‘I really nearly did it’ but I understand the sentiment. Great track
I've been a fan of the UK rap scene for years and Bugzy has always been one of my favorites and this song just solidifies why
Repping Upstate New York and this is absolutely fire. This song puts things in perspective and delivers a power message sheesh! and the beat SLAPS! 🔥
I'm watching this video. U.S. hip hop fan for 35 years. And yes this is phenomenal. I've watched a lot of reactions to this track and yours was the best and captured my feelings/thoughts the first time I heard this song.
am i the only person that had goosebumps the whole time listening to this song?
People need to respect British Rappers More. This is 🔥🔥🔥
Love watching Jon dissecting art
From the states. Mind blown.
As a New Yorker who loves hip-hop mans snapped. No way around it. Regardless of accent, gender, nationality when someone spits like this you have to respect it 🔥💯
So glad you reacted to this highly recommend M.E.N 1 & 2 also. Bugzy is unbelievably talented.
America in the house. This shit some real heat rock. Mad respect to Bugzy. I like the review my man.
This song is so fucking powerful.

I personally love this track tho!
Santan will be huge in America one day he already has loads of fans up here in Canada!
Dave will only be famous in america because he focus's on race and black privilege
Kano was the first I listened to who was really easy for me to understand. Then watching reaction channels and learning the song more helped pick up the heavier accents.
@@harrysmith5353 you hit the nail on the head. Black British millionaire complaing about race like Stormzy the Americans will eat that shit up
Awwww u had tears how cute xxxx
Aminé - LIMBO Reaction!!! Probably one the most chill hip hop albums I've heard this year so far. Dope Album!!! 💯
6LACK LORD I second this

This song almost brings you to tears with how good it is.

I swear watching Jon review and dissect a song like this is therapeutic
American hip hop heads are just as blown away by this monster as you guys are. I speak for us all on this one with all confidence.
Bugzy Malone needs more recognition
US fan here and new subscriber; this is one of the first songs ive heard out of the UK that really hits me, such a remarkable song.🤘🏻 Definitely see it blowing up over here!

Texas here to tell you that were blasting this out here dont worry
im from birmingham, alabama and I LOVE BUGZY. We dont have many storytellers in rap in the U.S anymore and its sad. Hard beat and autotune is all we get anymore. There's a chick named SG ALI you should hear.
Would love to see you react to both Pain and Moving by Bugzy! Two of my absolute favourites of his! ❤️ (especially outside of the M.E.N trilogy)
