Your video was presented at EXACTLY the right level of detail. I'd like to request a similar video that focuses on using the Digitakt with a computer to manage samples/projects, and also recording into DAWs.
Quite late here but I've purchased a Digitakt 2 and found your quick-start very helpful. It's currently tougher to find content on the Digitakt 2 that is similarly foundational but I can work out the differences.
These points are perfectly simple to help me begin making something that I can work from. I'm new to your channel and will now check out what else you've uploaded.
Being originally most comfortable with guitar, I'd like to see how I can work with both of these instruments together. Thank you for taking the time to share. /cheers
Perfect intro! Not too much- and not too less information. 10/10! *subscribed
Thank you!
So helpful to get an overview like this. Cheers!
Thank you! Just spent half an hour watching another video that fried my brain. This is so clear and helpful. Thank you.
I watched 10+ vids on the digitakt and found this the only useful one, so thanks!
Wow! I must say that everyone's been saying things about how hard it is to use any Elektron products but so far what I can see is very logical and intuitive! Great video
I think Octatrack is the alleged tricky one. I've only dabbled on one a couple times.
I did just purchase a digitakt and am looking forward to learning it.
I think MPC are harder to learn than an Elektron IMO.
I’ve been humming and ahhring about getting a Digitakt for months, but this video and the 1.5 update has finally pushed me over the edge!
Hows it been with the Digitakt? I’m on the fence like you were a few months ago👍🏻
This was the best quick start video I have found. It actually got me started on a device that I had never used before. Thank you!
I think this is how a quick guide should be done… very helpful 🙏🏻
Ohhh, thank you for this vid! You start at exactly the right spot for me. Annoying that Elektron manual and video library isn't as logical...appreciate that you put the time into filling the gap!
Wow- sir you should do disaster preparedness videos because you do not F around! We got into it quick-a helpful no-nonsense tutorial.
Very nice work - fantastic detail and the right speed for beginners like me - keep them coming :)
Great tutorial for newbies.
Very useful. I was thinking about to get a unit. Now i know. Will get one.
Great tutorial! Thanks a lot!
This was super helpful, thank you!
thanks m8 super helpful, perfect vid.
Great hands on tutorial! Would love to see more.
Thanks for this video. Very good job!
Great, nicely explained! I've recently stumbled across the Digitakt & impressed so I'm now checking videos galore. . . I think I'll be getting one! Albeit more of a collector of synth's this would sit well.
great tutorial ! thanks very much for taking the time to produce this
This was great. Thank you
Fantastic, simple start video thank you!
Good tutorial man. Covers a good amount to get the digi going. The rest on the Digitakt becomes pretty intuitive when you wrap your head around it’s workflow. Good work on the video.
Massively helpful video, thanks!
awesome video, looking forward for more 😁
You made it very simple mate. Cheers
Thank you very much for the tutorial. 👍
Clear and helpful, thanks.
Good tutorial, thanks a lot!
super damn helpful! thanks!! :)
This is a great quickstarter! I got a Digitakt this week to act as a drum machine/sampler for my DFAM. I'm already loving it. It's very obviously geared towards live performance, but to me that just empowers the matchup with a DFAM. Sadly Overbridge is giving me a headache though (the BPM sync does not vibe well with Reaper's clock, apparently), but I'll get it sorted, surely.
Great tutorial.
Really nice video
Hi Simon, I am looking for a simple but good drum machine to record on my Boss BR900cd recorder. I saw your Boss DR660 Drum Machine Tutorial and it seems a good and
fairly easy machine to programme ( I am a guitarist!) Would you suggest anything else that may be better? Thank you.
Handy video, thanks, I’m a beginner to sampling and Digitakt, what is the advantage of using midi for your volca bass over just sampling the volca bass? Cheers!
Once you sample your stuck with the sound as it was recorded. Using midi allows you to play with your instruments controls and not commit to one thing, in less your happy to do that of course. Midi would be better for live performance for this reason. For example I might want to play with a filter cutoff throughout the track. Digitakt can also only record up to 33 seconds which might not be enough if you have a 64 bar sequence and a slow enough tempo. I could go on but I'd write an essay 😂
Hi. Thanks for the video. Where did you get the fender Rhodes sounds? I can’t find them in the factory sounds. Did you import them?
Yes I did
Hola , es buena esta máquina para reggaeton ?
Where did you get the Rhodes samples?
So it generates all sounds from samples? Right? Cheers ❤
Yes, it has eight audio tracks that play samples, and eight MIDI tracks that can play or sequence external instruments. Note that you can make the sample tracks work like a synth by using a looped single-cycle waveform as the sample (the factory presets include some examples of these). You'd be surprised how far you can get with this technique.
Why can’t I hear the Digitakt? Just your voice and clicking.
Are you TubeDigger?
You bloody sound like him ;)
I am not, but guessing from the same area
Could you please tell me how much factrory samples do you have. I only have factory samples in Bank A and there are not much of them.
Think that's how it comes
