I love the makeover of your Studio,. You are a lucky lady. I have been hunting for new blinds for my windows. I can't find any of the correct sizes needed; so, I'm going to have to make my own. My home made blinds will be machine washable. I hate dusting window blinds. You could make a beautiful blind for that window (to hold back the sunlight when you don't want it).
NEW STUDIO - Love your renovation and a big improvement opening up the back room to the front, so you've got access to the front windows, not just for light but ventillation must be better. Also very nice having your family room just next door. I'm not in the USA, but have several quilting friends there who would LOVE to win your beautiful quilt! So if I was lucky enough to get put into your draw, you'd be mailing it to one of them and not me. ;-)

I live on a busy street and my bedroom is next to the neighbors deck, but my backyard is very private. Allows me to have uncovered windows in my sewing room which is so nice. Seems like everytime someone announces a giveaway the scammers come out. Thanks for the warnings and thanks for sharing your new space.

Instead of a curtain you could put a vinyl (I think it's vinyl) window cover. You can get them in different designs. It would help diffuse the light without eliminating it.
