On The Style Councils “Our Favourite Shop” album I hated this song. I found the lyrics you could say were hidden by the instruments being played. But then I heard this acoustic version of it, and really liked it.
Every time I hear this it takes me back to the summer of 1985 and me playing Our Favourite Shop non-stop when it released. Such a brilliant album and this track is the best Style Council track!
Never thought I could ever like a stripped down version better then the original,loved the original so much,but this is raw and powerful,goes with the lyrics,just awesome
