Agreed. I would also add that people need to take into consideration how they approach a rampart now, just like how you would make a decision on how to engage revenants, wattsons, caustics, etc
I feel like a good “passive buff” to rampart would be if they made gibbys bubble take damage from anywhere but like his own ult and his team’s bullets that way her mini gun and her wall damage buff would be “strong” even in competitive.

Eventually youll get used to fighting rampart and people will be scared of her mini gun which I feel is perfectly ok that's her ultimate Gibby's ult can squad wipe a team look at algs all of the Gibby's throw there ulti last min and they get like 4 to 5 kills sometimes
I honestly find rampart in a completely fine spot she’s perfectly mid tier in my opinion, the minigun is incredibly strong but also very volatile, the spin up is still really long and the reverse spread pattern means you won’t be hitting the first handful of bullets at range, also the laser sight from kings canyon if you’re playing on Olympus, she rewards perfect positioning but is very easily killed the second she gets out of position
agree, people got used to her being that 'one of the worst' legends and when she finally became ballanced and 'playable' for those who didin't even want to look at her, then the opinions about her turns into 'nah, she's op now'. She is not op, the walls are still breakable, and sheila is indeed a super strong weapon but it works 'op' only if you have either a whole team right in front of you (which is kinda their mistake/fault and not Ramparts and sheila) or if you are sure that there is noone behind you. Rampart players are still pretty easy to kill when they use sheila, especially in open space. I hope the devs would leave her be just the way she is now, she is finally at the spot when some random players or those who didn't like her can find her pretty fun to play
Yes! I hope the other Legends reach this point, specifically Lifeline, Mirage, Wattson, Crypto, maybe Maggie (she’s picked by predators in arenas, but I feel like she should be looked at).

Yup its about time I just say I'm a rampart main. Playing her since she came out. Then played some Ash then back on her. She was good before the buff. This buff made her even more deadly. This character is one of my all time favorites. Personality, multiple ways to play, and good abilitys that allows versitility.
Ultimate strat for sniper users: before using the one of the IMC armories, make sure you have a charge rifle in your inventory. This is because it has only 2 attachment slots, so you’ll have a higher chance of getting a good scope. This is really good because you can get the care package exclusive legendary sniper scope that is usually really rare. Multiple times I’ve gotten the scope.
It seems like nobody’s talking about how good her passive feels compared to other characters with the new lmg reload and handling nerfs, every time I try using one on someone who’s not rampart it’s actually painful. I know her passive doesn’t effect handling but the extra magazine size is more than enough to one clip someone in early game where you don’t have a good weapon stock and everyone has bad armor. It’s also super nice to always be able to get a lmg with either the rampage in crafting or just finding a spitfire/lstar
I went from 0 games played with Rampart to playing her almost every ranked game. The fact that Rampart moved from F tier to A tier in a single update is insane.
Yeah rampart is crazy right. I had a teammate on full health and shields go down immediately and I probably only won that fight because I got the jump from being them.

I thumb up you but I don’t think community want caustic buff is we like being able to push through a caustic nox gas with Bh and fuse when he retreat to his domain gotta love them baby tick however I’m not pushing a good team aggressively through the gas unless I have a crypto or Bh.
@@kandyrew I feel like Caustic only does ONE thing. His gas... that is all he has. Every ability revolves around it, if it is bad, he is bad. People just love pushing and playing fast in this game so people never want caustic to be good cus he forces people to slow down and think for a minute. His gas damage isn't even important to me, i just wish it was hard to see through, like Bangalore smoke. I want the fantasy of Caustic being this monster in the fog you can't see but he sees you. You could then use his gas more defensively as enemies coming inside it would be a very bad idea for them, you would be able to pop an ult and res your team. They could make it so he moves faster in his own gas, and so his passive vision actually works cus i swear it doesn't half the time.

If it gets to the point where u just need the right team to hold a building with no risk or effort then they might need to hit her cooldowns, but for now it feels like u don’t need to prepare for fights like u did before, and thas how it should b imo
I mean, shouldn't he feel less tanky than before with the S13 changes? Fortified no longer applies to headshot damage so while helmets did get a buff, the fortify nerf makes them feel the exact same as they were last season.
