Corey said multiple times..if he can't have Allyson then noone can..corey isn't dead and neither is Allyson and laurie didn't die either hence she stayed alive to be able to have a cameo when they make a new one. Just like laurie Allyson will now know who the new Michael myers is as most will believe Michael died. Which he may have finally. But he changed form and shape with corey and corey has reason to kill and haunt now. He wants Allyson and has to go through laurie!

The problem is, it was a last minute race with a newer script and they had to show everything in less than an hour to build up a huge romance between Alyson and Corey, they failed at that. They also failed at showing the real Michael Myers as a brutal killing machine, instead they made him out to be a weak-ass old man that couldn't even kill a fly anymore. This whole movie flopped and let down millions of fans.

When she found out Neve Campbell had a no kill clause in her contract, JLC suddenly put one into hers, and they had to change the ending of the movie to soothe her "Final girl" wishes or she wouldn't participate in the film.

I really liked that they tried something very different (like H3, H6, and RZs H2 which are 3 of my favs after the original), but it didn't work in Ends.
We did sort of get that with the Rob Zombie Halloween movies, however I think it's better not being allowed to sympathize with Myers, and having to see him as a monster or evil incarnate rather than a changed human, it would kinda take away the point of his character, that he sorta has no character, just death
You got that with Rob zombie remake he was abused by his step father Ronnie his mom was a stripper got bullied in school. And killed his let rat. Then that led on to killing bigger animals and then humans.

I would've loved this because Corey wasn't pure evil, but the people of the town made him into evil and once he finds Micheal and learns of the power he finally decides to make them pay.
I think they removed it cause David was only contracted for three movies. The ending in the novel does imply that Laurie has become the shape and they kept that almost up until the summer of 2022 but did reshoots for the endijg we have now where shes finally free and happy.

The directors of Halloween (2018) originally wanted to only make two movies, but after 2018 did well producers had them stretch it out. Unfortunate that their plans had to be stretched too thin to do so, we might've ended up with overall better films

I didn’t hate it but I understand why others would(I liked it but I admit that it wasn’t very good) Corey Cunningham is a bit overrated in my opinion, and I kind of wish that we could have gotten at least one final movie with him as the killer.
They should’ve used this. I worked on the set of this film last year in Savannah and none of us had much idea of how the film was going to end. It was kept very secret from everyone except for the elites on the crew - the ones that had been there since the beginning. Even from someone who was a part of its production, this film was garbage. Halloween 2018 made this project look so promising. But the last 2 of the 3 were just a no from me. Shame.
MUCH better ending… and they could have kept making Halloweens sort of like Scream where different folks are possessed by “the evil” and take on the Shape. They completely blew it.

Well originally DGG had plans for that radio tower. CGI’ing into Kills, mentioning it in the commentary. Studio just made him change it.

That's a completely superior ending in keeping with the whole 'evil takes another shape' theme...so much better than the stupid, ridiculous one we got instead.
When I heard that there would be a new Michael Myers movie coming out I was very excited but once I saw the movie I felt disrespected and trolled

I didn’t hate it but I understand why others would(I liked it but I admit that it wasn’t very good) Corey Cunningham is a bit overrated in my opinion, and I kind of wish that we could have gotten at least one final movie with him as the killer.
They should’ve used this. I worked on the set of this film last year in Savannah and none of us had much idea of how the film was going to end. It was kept very secret from everyone except for the elites on the crew - the ones that had been there since the beginning. Even from someone who was a part of its production, this film was garbage. Halloween 2018 made this project look so promising. But the last 2 of the 3 were just a no from me. Shame.

MUCH better ending… and they could have kept making Halloweens sort of like Scream where different folks are possessed by “the evil” and take on the Shape. They completely blew it.
Tbh i wanted corey to be the new boogeyman and continue the legacy of Michael myers by becoming him because corey had such a good backstory and motives to kill he was a well written character and im saddened by his death because he had potential

worst halloween EVER. what would you make it about a whole new character when it's the last installment of the film? this was awful. I dunno why they didmt use the tried and true concept of Michael killong people trying to find his sister and have the show down we all wanted not this disaster. after years if waiting this is what they thought was acceptable? I loved the halloween franchise but I honestly dont know if I'd ever watch another one again after this hot straight to dvd garbage. I'd rather watch Halloween 3 on repeat for the rest of my natural life than set through 10 minutes of this abortion again.
