To create a cartogram, it is enough to create 2 surfaces, the first - from what the calculation is, the second to what the calculation is. So, for example, when calculating the PRS cut, you need to create 2 surfaces, to calculate the embankment, you need to add 1 more: the relief above the cut / trench and the pit itself and the mound of soil on the site above the cut.
In this example, there is a target calculation of a separate object within the project boundary. This method is convenient if there is a separate estimate for each object in the project and it is necessary to divide the calculation of volumes.

МенюГео справа (geodesist.ru/resources/menjugeo.103/update?update=550) бесплатная и простая
Пока для изысканий их достаточно.
