We can never go wrong with Tears For Fears Music. They should have been in the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame years ago, a true shame. Thank you for reacting to their music.
Probably one of the most beautiful songs Tears For Fears ever made (and they've made many beautiful tracks). So powerful - and the addition of Oleta Adams incredible voice to this made it pure perfection!! Loved this song since first release in 1989. Great reaction!
For me, this is their signature song. The most worked, everything fits perfectly together, that incredible bass all along the song, those two voices that respond so beautifully without ever colliding or crashing into each other, and the instruments that so skillfully construct this mosaic of contrasting feelings. This is undoubtedly their most outstanding achievement.
Sad topic, wonderful song, great video! And the performance together with Oleta Adams - a masterpiece! I'm still loving this song so much, even 34 years after its release😍
The TFF music is very emotional. I love this band and in this song, I like me very much the mixed Roland Orzabal and Oleta Adams. Great reaction, guys!
The story is that the boys heard Oletta singing in a club and knew they had to get her on tape so they wrote this song and as they say the rest is history.......great great song by a great band.......you can find the live version on youtube......so you can compare....
There is a reason this haunting song is so well-regarded. Deep subject and lyrics with interesting music and a lovely guest performance by Oleta Adams. It explores control and powerlessness. Factoid: Phil Collins played drums on this song. Not sure why he is not in the video, but he was a very busy man at this time, so perhaps his schedule did not permit it. You should review more Collins videos/songs and also Genesis. (Collins played drums and sang in this Prog-Rock group)
Tears For Fears are the best band to come out of the 80's, and they are still creating great music today. They are unique in that both males sing lead vocals, on this song Roland sings lead with a guest appearance from Oleta Adams. Please review Advice For The Young At Heart which has Curt singing lead vocal.
Tears for Fears is in the same league with Pink Floyd, The Beatles, etc. Phil Collins plays drums drums on the track starting at about 3:30 onward (you can hear his distinct style). TfF has great songs on each of their album, even the ones with just Roland Orzabal, who sings on this track. He and Curt Smith are back together now and just released a TfF album this year, The Tipping Point. Glad you checked out this song. I hope someone sponsored "Sowing the Seeds of Love" or "Head over Heels" (or any of their songs)!
This song is my favorite by TFF. As someone that just got out of an abusive relationship after 7 years it affects me even more now. I alway noticed how the guy in the video seems constantly angry and taking it out on his girlfriend/wife, yet she seems to be the only one working, while he's at the gym or out jogging. Also, it makes me so upset to see how violent he is towards her yet so gentle with the pigeons. (However, those birds aren't free either because there's the big ol' cage right behind him.) Sorry for the rant...just an observation. Cheers
A small island like Great Britain produced so many world famous bands of all genres of music you know of pink floyd lol Tears for Fears is one of the great bands of the 80s just for the record, guys this song was written by Roland Orzabal (the black haired singer) its about about his mother who worked as a table top dancer in a bar bring up her son young Roland here ok
Completly deep. Coming from the soul. Beautiful voices. Love this music. I am from Brazil. Born in 1964. Grow listeninig this music and Culture Club, Simply Red, Michael, Tina, Brian Ferry, Madonna, Cindy, Simple Minds.... good music grom 80's
Phil Collins did the drums on this song. He’s not in the video because he wasn’t available when they were filming it so they put a different drummer in the video.
Interestingly enough this song was presented in the 80 s. It cast a shadow on a very disrespectful shadow of the relationship between men and women who misunderstood each other and could not find their way between the lines of love and respect. Strength and conditioning. Gender norms and modivation towards individuality and connectedness. Striving to love and nurture each other in the grace of God. Be at peace my good friends. IF THE GOGO'S GET IN THE HALL OF FAME, TEARS FOR FEARS SHOULD BREAK DOWN THE DAMN DOOR!!

Let's cry together
Just a beautiful song with two brilliant singers. Perfect . Xx
Beautiful song. In the past there were long songs, with not only the 3 minutes of singing but just take the time for some room for the instruments.

They are really good, I love Mad World, Everybody Want To Rule The World is also very nice
I believe the phenomenon the lady is attempting to describe is known as 'deja vu'.
Just checking, have you heard 7 Seconds, song by Neneh Cherry and Youssou N'Dour. If not...well, one of the songs that can not be missed.
Yep, know that song pretty well 😄
I like you guys, ❤️ from the UK.
they have a lot off great songs, even new ones, still going strong.
Very sad , and relatable

2 MORE SONGS TO PLAY FROM THEM :- "SHOUT" & EVERYBODY WANTS TO RULE THE WORLD"
Great song
If dont fail my memory, Orzabal talks about your parents in this song.

I envy you hearing that for the first time.

Mike Tyson kept pigeons...
Yeah, no kidding, why aren't TFF in rock in roll hall of fame? Mysterious.
