Aliyah shouldn’t be on there. Janet should have at least two. Madonna should have 2-3 at least. Mariah should have at least one if not two.
@@taintedlife2618I’d put Aaliyah over anti at least

shoutout to maggie for being real and for asking the tpab question
No TPAB and Graduation is insane
Prince got two places on this list. I am so happy 😭
Off The Wall deserves a spot in the top 10
FACTS! 🔥 🔥
Thriller should have been no. 1. Without question.
FACTS! 🔥 🔥
Come on guys Thriller should have been No.1. Michael Jackson deserved that top spot.
THRILLER... THRILLER! 😩
42:31 there is no shift zane what are you talking about…. Thriller > Miseducation
Man I thought this was going to be the actual deliberation and debate about ranking the albums...
Same :(
Frank Ocean in Top 5...???🤔🤔🤔🤔
Yeah! For a generation one of the most prolific and experimental R&B artists. Think it’s a good pick for a modern representation in a all time list
@@keithqueener2397 does the word prolific not mean that they are constantly releasing music? If so then Frank Ocean is about as much the opposite of prolific I can think of
Impactful yes, prolific no.
Mariah Carey >>> Frank Ocean
Woke
yo.. to say MJ was solely focused on his personal success is so inaccurate. Yes, he wanted to be the greatest but he was also focused on what that would mean for Black people. The cast of the music videos and how he allowed black groups to sample him, highlights his intentionality. I love Lauren but her solo album does not come close to Thriller. I say this as a 23 year old, there is no shift. Thriller is still number one. Every artist still speaks on the albums impact.
FACTS! 🔥 🔥
Michael Jackson's Thriller being #1 shouldn't even be debated.
It can easily be debated.
@@Supermanfan99how so?
@@for-house-stark It’s a subjective list. Anything can be debated. Most music lists have Revolver or Sgt. Pepper’s by The Beatles or Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys at the top.
@@Supermanfan99 every list is a subjective list
@@for-house-stark Exactly and that’s why everything can be debated. Saying it “shouldn’t even be debated” is silly
the comments are so angry as if this isn’t just a ranking by a SMALL GROUP of people! it’s just their opinions, it’s okay lmao.
nothing bad is gonna happen to your fave albums. they’re not gonna be deleted from streaming platforms if they’re not on the list. your personal memories attached to them aren’t gonna disappear.
just like nothing good is gonna happen to these albums for being on the list. they’re not gonna suddenly sell 100K copies this week. apple just did this for engagement lmao
there’s nothing paradoxical, sarcastic or ironic about my comment.
i meant what i said. this is simply a ranking by a select few people, that has no impact upon other groups of people’s opinions on these albums, nor does it impact the actual albums themselves. @user-yz1id7wc7q
Blonde at 5 is wild. Sure it was big at the time and people still listen to it but I’ve grown cold on it in the last couple of years, perhaps mostly because of Frank’s weird behavior since then. It feels like an album that would take me an hour to explain to anyone the lore of that record to someone who isn’t familiar with Frank.
What is the criteria of this list?
300 hundred people vote
There was no criteria just biased feelings about the albums
No Whitney or Phil album in the top 20 is astronomically insane. Period.
Nile Rogers rockin' that Chanel is magical
Any list of Top 100 Albums that doesn’t have Sgt. Peppers is difficult to gasp in any sense. Such a shame.
Thriller IS number 1. People are just anti Michael. Don’t switch up when the biopic drops
Over abbeyroad? Behave
@@mikeshinoda703 yeah over abbey road

what about ABBA
These people are full of it. What about Pat Benatar. garbage. so many amazing artists neglected because of poor taste of these people. Where is RIO
I fast forwarded to them talking about Thriller. The way they’re talking about the album it really makes no sense why it’s not #1!
FACTS! 🔥 🔥
Thriller the biggest album ever and MJ is the GOAT.
Are these lists based on who listened? Because I've never listened to Frank Ocean so he wouldn't have been in my top 1000. All the other albums in the top 10 I've listened to and can dig it. (Lauren would actually be top 30-50 for my list)
Thriller should have been no1
Dawg Marvin Gaye’s What’s going on isn’t number 1 ?😂😂😂
Whoever put yall in charge made a huge mistake. Especially missing sgt pepper, in rainbows, rubber soul, and so many more. But the biggest dumb decision was putting a Taylor album at 18 ABOVE revolver , dark side, and so many much better things. Same with Billie at 30 tbh. When that’s not even her best album.
Thank you to The judges and everyone who chose The 100th place album 🙏 🎉
best albums: OFF the wall. Thriller, Bad, Dangerous, History
History is not that good
@@georgeandfriendsadventures5073it's actually that good
The best ever musical album being made is "One Love" Album by Bob Marley, if you haven't listened to it, go listen to the album, The album is a Masterpiece.
Thriller hands down then purple rain
Think they put Hill at #1 to get people talking about the list. It worked.
Exactly
No QUEEN night at the opera? Crazy miss.
I absolutely LOVE and AGREE that Miseducation is on top. I love the four of them were honest when they were surprised as well, but that album is 25 years old and it’s STILL a non-skip album and it’s influenced 25 years of artists. I loved their discussion about it and the list. I actually really love the list in general. You look at Rolling Stone’s list, or something similar, and it’s practically all white bands from the 70s. There’s more influences out there than rock and roll bands from the 70s, and for me that’s Lauryn Hill. It’s a seminal album and I don’t care if it’s the only thing she ever makes- it’s perfect.
I think Lemonade was a great album production wise. I’d probably put it in the top 20 but not 10. The College Dropout and TPAB should’ve made the list imo. I think a Red Hot Chili Pepper’s album, Coldplay and Gorillaz should’ve made the list too.
i’m not even on the beyoncé part and i’m scared for the rest cause all the comments are saying they don’t even know ANYTHING about the album
No Alice In Chains Dirt, is the biggest travesty!
No James Brown, only the most sampled artist of all time? No The Who, a band that laid foundation for punk, grunge, and metal to some degree?!?!?!
