Given how shocked you were about Volcanic Lord I take it that bosses don't typically replace all instances of the boss they replace? it's pretty funny regardless especially when taking into account how many times you have to fight Grim Reaper normally so having Volcanic Lord turn up for most, if not all, of them is great.
Grim Reaper has two seperate versions recognised as seperate bosses in the boss randomiser. The swcond one used to only be possible to fight in its original location due to the chest, but that got changed and that version of Grim Reaper now brings the chest with it. In general, boss rando treats different encounters with a boss as different fights and the two fights roll independantly for which boss is present there, while the versions of the boss itself are added as seperate entries to the boss pool, which causes some bosses, like Grim Reaper, to appear more often than some other bosses on average, because there are two Grim Reapers in the pool but only one Scar, although this is also impacted by how many arenas each boss is possible in - some bosses cannot appear in specific boss locations because of either crash issues or the arena being too small. However, the various Data fights against Organisation XIII will ALWAYS be the same boss as what was rolled for the corresponding regular fight, so whoever you face where you normally fight Axel will also appear as Data Axel if you go do that fight, for example. Note that boss stats are scaled based on the "combat level" of each visit of each world and Data fights have a higher combat level than the normal fights, so they are still harder.
@@alexstewart9592 I'm glad you covered the Organization fights because that's the train of thought I had. Thinking upon it further I'm unsure why Setzer kept turning up so maybe Ninten just has an option that allows for bosses to repeat themselves?

This allowed Volcano Lord to appear on Barbossa, Grim Reaper 1 and Grim Reaper 2, which if duplicate bosses were disabled would all be different boss fights, but the two fights against the Blizzard Lord were caused by placing it on an Organization fight, and boss rando has the normal and Data locations for each Organization fight hold the same boss, with no duplicates compensating by placing either the normal OR Data version of each Organization member somewhere in the game instead of both. Generally, Ninten allows duplicate bosses, but he disables them if he is going to use the seed for rando blackout bingo, in order to guarantee that any bosses on his bingo card are actually in the game - because the number of bosses and the number of boss fights are equal, preventing dupes guarantees at least one of every boss, but it also makes encounters with some of the bosses less likley in certain locations becase their original location has relatively heavy restrictions on who can be there - bosses from cups, like the FF characters, are unlikley to turn up in big locations because cups are unstable at the best of times and some cups have multi-boss fights that further restrict the options because some bosses are incompatable with or unfair in a multi-boss boss battle.
Always get sad with the boss randomized because I always wanted a kh where all the different Disney characters come together and interact in this universe but that always seems to get reserved just for Disney to decide when to do it. Not that I am mad they do but wish we saw more interActions like this with the concepts kh explores

Possibly 4 Rikus in KH3. It's a bit iffy but in one of Riku's Kingstagram posts he says (And I'm going off of memory here) "Xehanort traveled back in time as a heart before possessing me. Am I the reason Ansem looks the way he does :/" Which now that I think about it, might just be him trying to wrap his head around the whole "Time traveling as a Heart and needing a vessel" thing. Ah okay I looked it up! He actually says, *Xehanort was controlling Terra's body when he created Ansem and Xemnas. But Ansem had no form until he possessed me. Am I why he looks the way he does? :/* So yeah, Ansems the fourth Riku. A possessed Riku but a Riku none the less.
Update, I found it due to the created user name Jeff. He has deleted his channel and has access to a butt load of Mods This is one of many that I have a tamed if you want to have a Riku. Build check my last video in the description.
Another update I found the exact mod he has in this video the one I download it previously was at one point one file but both of the updated and the previous version don’t do well with a Drive forms. Via Valor Form. And limit and master.
