PC Boss Rando has provided so many new advancements to the KH2 boss randomizer, especially in comparison to PS2 Rando. 1. Basically a lot more bosses are in the rando pool. Either they decided to simply let the floodgates open, or more bosses work. For example, Zexion, Riku, the struggle fights (Hayner, Setzer, Seifer, Vivi), and Thresholder are all the pool now. A bit confused on why TR Pete is not in the pool, and I am not sure if Oogie and Groundshaker is in the pool (since their fights are replaceable) or just removed altogether. Don't know if Final Xemnas is also the case since I believe Riku is needed to make the fight work. 2. Bosses now bring their meter gimmick with them. ---------------- Hostile Program now brings the energy meter with it and drops the orbs. ---------------- Saix now brings the berserk gauge wherever he goes. ---------------- I am assuming this is the case with Lexeaus' power meter and Vexen's data meter. If this is the case with Luxord's time gauge and Demyx's water clone counter, then that is the solution to how to make them both work outside of their arenas. 3. Outside things are now adjusted to make more fights work. For example: ---------------- AX1, who was absent from PS2 Rando and replaced with a second AX2, now brings his weapons to his fights, now making him work outside of his vanilla location. ---------------- Xemnas 1, who was absent in the PS2 rando due to his building RC, now does the attack with crystals, but never goes to the building sequence ("come closer"), now making him work outside of his arena (plus making him slightly more challenging). ---------------- Grim Reaper 2, another who was absent in PS2 rando, now brings its chest and the medallion counter with it. ---------------- Dark Thorn now brings the chandelier to its fight, so that when it goes into the chandelier, it no longer breaks and remains permanently invisible and untargetable. Those are some examples from what I have seen so far by watching Ninten's streams.
I remember seeing either bizkiz or bloodybizkiz doing a boss rando and pr pete (both boat pete and the pete you fight at the end of tr) just kinda broke stuff at the time.
Also ground shaker needs to have the start if the fight turned off. The rc of lions sora running from groundshaker. If not sora clips through the ground and falls forever.
