Ghost is a phebominal band. I just got my 2 VIP passes for their show at Rock N Derby in Albany. They are like so many bands in 1. Hints of Sabbath, Moody Blues, Metallica, Bad Company.....and so many more. Some of their stuff I would definitely say is Metal some of it rock and hard rock. Just an outstanding all around band. Which is something that is very rare now a days. Have purchased many shirts, and CDs. Both for myself and as gifts. GO GET THAT GRAMMY GHOST!!!! And if Slipknot winds up getting it just know you guys really earned it. But then again its just a grammy.
Dude I can't tell you the last time I purchased a CD. I have purchased many copies of Infestissumam and Meliora for myself and as gifts. Seeing them this may at Rock N Derby in Schatighoke NY. VIP Passes!!!

Strange to see Papa without his robes but gotta admit, he looks astounding in those clothes as well! In my opinion his voice is good but he does tend to be a bit off-pitch live, he could use some improvement in that sense but otherwise they're amazing both live and in the studio.
I guess, but there's nothing wrong with short songs! It's supposed to be fun, light, simple and catchy! a nine minutes song would get boring if made in their style, BUT that doesn't mean it's not good, it's not supposed to "wow" you with the complexity of the song. If you are looking for something like that I suggest you listen to prog metal, you might like Haken :D
why the singer doesnt wear the tunic and the hat? without them he doenst look like a pope he looks like the singer from my chemichal romance but with painted face
Lucas Fernandez He does. He starts the show off like that but takes off the hat and robe after a few songs. He calls this his "Dead Astaire" look. You can't work a big stage wearing all that gear so he had to come up with a more mobile outfit
Bill Crockett plus can you _imagine_ how hot it is wearing the papal robes for a FULL gig?! I’m stunned he stuck with it for two whole Papas without doing what he did here and using it sparingly.
SaintsCheat they were technically a bunch of hired musicians, they just didn’t really understood it before recently. Tobias pretty much did all the work of creating the songs, he came up with the idea of the band (the antipope and the nameless ghouls), with the melodies, with the lyrics, pretty much everything. The only thing they did was playing what he told them to play. But the line up was indeed pretty good, but so is the new one!
@@Stella-vp5zg you couldn't to be more wrong lol. Papa Emeritus wasn't a Forge idea. Peter Hällje came up with the original idea and then he showed to Martin Persner and Martin showed to Forge. The only album that Forge wrote completly by himself was Opus Eponymous, Infestissumam has 3 songs that was co-wrote by Martin Persner (credited as Indio Marcato) and on Meliora, Persner and the producer co-wrote most of the songs too. Simon Söderberg produced Opus Eponymous and the first version of Infestissumam with Niels Nielsen, and all the OG members of Infestissumam played On Album, Forge only sung and wrote it with some help of Martin, Meliora all bass and guitars solos was recorded by Henrik Palm, Forge and Söderberg recorded some guitars too. So yeah, Ghost was a idea from Forge, but he does not made and created everything alone.

I absolutely love this song, but in my opinion it fails live.
Yeah, a lot of what makes this song so great is the massive chorus with all of the vocal harmonies, and that can't really come across live.
