do these mr12volt units hook up to the stock CCC headunits? i just bought an android ccc headunit for my e60 and everything works but the audio has static...did i just get a shitty unit? or is aux always shit? i hear the mr12volt goes thru the MOST bus and you get high quality audio...

Every Android screen I've seen uses Aux and yes Aux SUCKS. MOST has much higher audio fidelity.

I didn’t remove the a pillar trim or the sun visor. I had the cd changer removed from the glove box, the door seal and obviously the unit on the roof containing the mic. from there I router the cable from the glove box out the side of the dash where the door seal is removed, just pushed the cable in where the door seal goes and follow up to the roof, then just pushed it under the roof lining following along the windscreen to the centre of the roof where it fed to the mic.
I’m sure I have the exact same unit, but I didn’t connect mine to the I drive unit. I think mine got can bus from somewhere behind the factory head unit
All up with working out how to do it, it was only about an hours install time for me

Yours will be a diff unit. Likely the one I installed on the e90. I prefer that unit to this one. But so far so good
