I had a sick combo in this deck with intruder alarm. Basically when your tokens etb, they'll untap araumi. And typically you're making token copies of a creature that etbs and mills you more cards. So you just churn through your deck out of nowhere
Really interesting breakdown! Have you considered making a short addendum for budget versions or considerations? I would also think that it could be interesting to highlight how to play when youre facing the deck you made a guide for, important combo pieces to disrupt (which are often clear by your explanations of the best combos naturally), what to counter, what to KOS, etc.
@@kwakerjak I don't think cost and power level are a good corollary, but if you're going to do so, the easiest things to remove are the "big ticket" items like Dual Lands and one-off expensive cards like Mana Crypt.
This deck IS a cEDH deck. If you were going to make it NOT cEDH you'd remove most of the combos e.g. Thoracle and play more "big timmy value" encore targets.
He's not playing playing modern/pioneer and presumably standard as well so all he has to do videos on is legacy and commander. Hes already covering legacy and modern/legacy have been basically unchanged for the last two balance changes so he has a lot of time available.😊
As I said in the "intro video", no. Many Commanders are either just not interesting, too underpowered, or worse than another Commander. But "A Guide To Every Deck that has both an interesting Commander and that's on par or better than all other Commanders in the same colors and that share it's themes In EDH" seemed like a mouthfull.

Isn't this like A LOT OF WORK, why not instead a vidoe on different archtypes and or tribes and choose 1-2 most common cmdr of that

I have a pauper EDH deck with Araumi as the commander. It honestly holds its own in games with 4s and below in normal commander. Araumi is very spicy.
