Splendid Dan. I like those pilgrimage sort of routes. I agree with your parallels with the North Pennines too. 👍

Thanks Chris and sorry for the late reply. Been up in western Scotland. It sure was a great route.

Loved it Dan. Like you it's a spiritual home to me - so good to see another Kindred spirit out there amid the rivers and slopes of the Cambrians. I appreciated every step - ah it's just so glorious there. A good attempt at the river crossing but it got ya. As for the Bothy I've yet to have the pleasure there. You're right what an entrance. Well, done on the resourcefulness - got the tent up. Well, a fabulous morning and a peaceful arrival at Strata Florida for one happy pilgrim. All the best. Mark

Cheers Mark. I had a feeling you would enjoy the trip. One you could certainly do in the future if you want to properly get away from it all for a day or two. I say it every time, but boy do i love this part of Wales. Part 2 coming soon. ATB.

@@danexitsstreetview3273 A pleasure dan. Yeah, it's on my list. There's a few trails that pass through the Cambrians - just overcoming injury now. But good on this was great. Oh for I know you love it. I'll be tuning in for part 2. Have a good rest of the week.

Nice to see you back in your 'homeland' as it were enjoying the isolation and open space, know that feeling of bog walking and wet feet all too well, looking forward to part 2, atb

Thanks Duncan. Yes love any reason to go back. Part two will be up in the next couple of days and is in much grimmer conditions than in part 1.

Nice one Dan, FairPlay to you, you do some miles on your own in some remote locations and you can’t get much more remote than the Cambrian Mountains. Claerddu bothy is a cracking bothy and I’m with you on this one - I don’t mind being called a pussy but I wouldn’t stay in there on my own no way pedro and like you said there is a feel to the place it’s similar to Nant Syddion bothy that place is creepy lol 😂 enjoyed that mate keep them coming ATB Mark & Simon 👍👌

Cheers. I love my own company luckily so the solitude doesn't bother me. Glad it isn't just me who is scared of some of the bothies around. The more rooms they have the creepier they are too I reckon. Thanks for watching.

@@danexitsstreetview3273 no worries mate, the bothies are scarier when they have an upstairs 😁👍
