I am curious about the mic. Can you use two mic on the x4 at the same time ? I can not seem to find any info or do you have to record then add the audio at editing?
If you use the rode wireless go 2 or pro then you can use the two transmitters yes. If you have that mic it works great. If not I usually record external audio with any mic and sync it up in post, it’s an extra step but really simple. 👍
Can I ask why you connect the audio via that USB connector with the wireless go receiver rather than just directly connecting the transmitter to the X4 via Bluetooth? I have a DJI mic 2 and it works perfectly.
With a wired connection you get far superior audio, DJI restricts the audio to 16ghz on non DJI products, for every day it’s fine but for more advanced content it’s a bit choppy
Great video! Im looking into getting an X4. Was curious what microSD you use or recommend. As I was reading about it theres some people that claim that the Sandisk A2 V30 256 Extreme and Extreme Pro gives a card error with the X4. Others claim Samsung Pro Plus is better with no issues or even the Lexar Professional 1066x. Im so confused. Hoping for youre input on which to get. Thank you in advance
that ski pole mount, maybe it could also be used for people with walking sticks/crutches? i dunno that's just where my mind went - as im always on the look out for something that will allow me handsfree but looking at me, so i can hobble and vlog. some great accessories you highlighted there
Good video. Id suggest trying the utility frame when biking or doing other outdoor activities. this way you can mount it vertically and add some protection. and if you already tried - why dont you like it?
I could really use some advice. I am looking to make phenominel real estate videos with the floating effect. Dynamic visual. I am currently using my iphone. lol So lost in reviews. If you were to buy one for real estate which one would you choose?
Is the bullet time tripod handle made of plastic or metal? I read it’s plastic and wobbles? I’m searching for a bullet time handle tripod made of metal, lemme know if anyone know of any thanks
Can I ask you to recheck your lens comments, I’ve watched so many x4 lens comparisons and your the first person to say the premium lens guards are better than the ones supplied, all the videos I have viewed have shown more artefacts and dust sticking to the premium lens guards as opposed to the plastic ones that come with the camera, I’m not having a go just want the facts between them, the fact the have any twist on lens guards compared to the stick on x3 guards has to be a bonus as these lens give me anxiety when I use the camera 😬😬🥳🥳🥳
I’ll be doing a test soon to look into it further, but as far as I’ve experienced the premium ones are definitely more durable, especially, the ones that come with the camera will scratch because they are plastic
@@ZanderRound Thank you for replying quickly, thought it worth a mention as have watched a many on here and all have pointed out the supplied lens get better results than the premium ones, worth watching them, yes the glass one are going to be more scratch resistant but many have shown the glass one you can see more artefacts and shows up on the footage 😬
@@Windsurfingaddict I mean yeah probably you will that’s just a side-effect of the 360 footage and another bit of glass but you’d only be using it for action sports really to protect the lenses. I wouldn’t use them in a normal scenario.
@@ZanderRound At 05:58 - I think it said on the 360 website or manual, the red dot on the lens guard should point downwards when mounted. Not sure why since they're uniform. Maybe something to do with fogging?
No, it's not necessary. What it does is allow you to transfer files quicker from the camera to your computer or phone than via Bluetooth. I can transfer files just fine without it, either via Bluetooth or with a USB-C cable. But since I haven't tried it out yet, I can't tell you how much faster you would be able to transfer files with it.
@pokerface9581 Of course X4 will be better than X3 but X3 is already powerful and with some decent editing techniques... you can make the footage similar to X4.
Your comments on the standard lens guards vs the premium are incorrect. All the TH-cam videos out there covering this topic says the opposite. The premium have more reflection and therefore the standard ones are actually better.
6:30 no, temper glass protectors are worse for image quality (see comparation on YT) (I own X4) 6:54 how to attach X4 with this mount? It is a joke there is no gopro to 1/4 adapter. I have unicorn helmet mount and I can't attach X4 directly to helmet, had to order 3rd party adapter. 8:11 lens is not central to your body, you will see image is shifted
Like I said I’ll be testing the lens guards myself, also the horizontal mount comes with the 1/4 adapter built in and it’s design for mounting on a bike or just hold central to your body if vlogging with it , I don’t know what you mean 🤦
Glad to see someone verified PT-20 works with X4.
Would you recommend the neck mount, wrist strap or mouth one for going down solo water slides and tall slides like on cruise ships?
2 quick questions. Is there a 'lanyard' or loop hole on the selfie sticks, incase you drop them? And would the holyland mic mount on the x4?
Thanks!
Appreciate it 👌👌🫡
Can i use the carbon fiber selfie stick with the bullet time tripod
Can you use start/stop recording using the phone app?

I use the Sandisk extreme pro (red version) in all my action cameras, never had any issues 👍
What microphone are you using? i see the mount, you talk about it, i see the microphone adapter from insta, but what is the actual microphone?
Rode wireless go ii

Thanks for the video! Any accessories for Kitesurfing and Wakeboarding?
@insta360 ??
Did you try the quick reader? Im wondering if they are really useful
Have you got a link to purchase the horizontal mount in the UK?
Is the horizontal mount the one originally for the X3? I can’t find one specifically for the X4
Id also like to know this, it does look like it , but who knows?
Hi ! Thank you for the informative video ! So does the X3 mic adapter work on the X4 ? (and with the cable and the cold shoe of the X3 ?)
Can we use x3 selfie stick for x4 ?
Of course
Good video.
Id suggest trying the utility frame when biking or doing other outdoor activities. this way you can mount it vertically and add some protection.
and if you already tried - why dont you like it?
I’ll have to try it 👍
Thank you very much for this. I just got an X4 my self and wanted to get some good accessories for it.
Glad to help, more coming soon👍
Did you say that the X3 mic adapter work on X4?
I have heard other people say that it did NOT work on the X4 unfortunately.

Also, does the insta provide FlowState Stabilization
All insta cameras have flowstate.
The X4 would be perfect for real estate or the one RS 1 inch version with 6k
The bike lock accessory for the neck is new it seems
Some great accessories, are you on any other platforms
i saw in another video that the premium protectors actually easily got marks and the plastic ones were a lot better
I would say that’s wrong, the premium ones are tempered glass
Is the bullet time tripod handle made of plastic or metal? I read it’s plastic and wobbles? I’m searching for a bullet time handle tripod made of metal, lemme know if anyone know of any thanks
The cold shoe also works with the excellent DJI Mic2 which also remains invisible.
nice vidéo, thank you

Max 2 hit the x4?
9:18 also a hiking pole mount
You've forgot to mention the all in one tripod stand which is on your desktop for all the video !
🤣I mean sure that’s good too
The x3 mic adapter doesn’t work on the x4 atleast mine doesn’t
X4 quality doesn't look blown away....its just a hype !

This camera is very expensive. And if you want a few accessories, you can add 50% the price of the camera.
Other reviews all say glass protector is worse image quality than plastic ones, and more dust!
The extended stick x3 is same as x4?
