I had a black 1974 back in the 80’s.....IMO....if you are going to run the tour pack you should have the white Buddy seat on it. If you want to run the solo...take off the tour pack. Enjoy the bike they are hard to find these days.
I would definitely disagree! But in saying that I am not running the tour pack. I just put it on because. For me shovel buddy seats sit up too high (comfort not looks) top box or not.
Really sweet original paint in excellent condition including the chicken sticker on the rear fender. I also have a blue original paint 75 shovel that gets ridden two or three times a year. Mine has about 24k miles and I'm also not interested in selling it. Take care of that one.
Wow! Beauty! Class! History! AMF! Love It! Thanks for sharing! I'm biased! I have a 75 also! Owned since 1981. Working on original tank paint now! Mine was / is black with the red, white, blue stripes. "No Head, Like Shovelhead"!
Nice Shovel! I just picked up an original paint 1970. First year cone / alternator. Did the same as you, solo seat and stock exhaust. She has 40K so I installed an Andrew's AB cam, new lifters and oil pump. She looks and rides beautifully and now dominates the garage next to my '20 Ultra and '17 Low Rider S.
Well done,I've got the 78 1/2 1340 75th Anniversary edition,it's been mothballed for probably 10 years but still a cool scooters. Greetings from Tampa Florida 😎
12K original miles! Just broke in good! That original paint looks amazing! The chrome, everything...cherry survivor bike, for sure! Just needs to be thoroughly cleaned & running...good polishing on everything & this thing will look brand new! Excellent find! My 1999 Road King only had 12.5K original on it a few years ago when I got it, now it's double that...& still rising...still looks new when I polish it up though...
I have no idea what the market value is on that thing but considering it's basically a brand new 50 year old motorcycle I would say anything less than 50 is undervalued. I could have all the money in the world and it would probably take forever to find something like that.
What a hellavah find ⚡⚡ Beautiful machine. Solo seat is perfect. I know the buddy seat served it's purpose but it's just in my opinion a bit too much as looks go. Again a beautiful ol' shovel⚡⚡👍👍👍👍🍀
That bike is cool man, good grab, and I think you were to polite to the dumb ass with the big mouth insulting you and asking about the oil leak, I'll bet ya a beer he has no clue what wet sumping is
@@trevorgraham9098 My guess is Scott Misus' missus has his balls in a jar on a shelf somewhere. Keep doin' what you're doin'. This is my first vid of yours that I have seen, and probably won't be the last. 👍
That is a very nice Shovelhead you have there Trevor. I was wondering how does it compare to the maroon colored 75 Electra-Glide you did up previously?
i remember when that paint scheme came out. why does everyone want to get ride of the buddy seat? yeah they are ugly but comfortable as can be and offer a great ridding position. ps don't get rid of the split bars. they will, at some point be worth $$$$.

It's nice to see you saving a classic like that in a foreign country. Too many of them got trashed or turned into choppers here in the U.S. Nice job.

Nice example of an original, they are hard to find in this condition. I've got a 76 FLH with low miles but it is no longer in original color.
excellent thats a beauty
Beautiful bike!
I love those fat original seats for the ride comfort but dislike the look. Still have mine in the attic haha
i think i like the other seat better. nice bike.

Thanks for watching! I think they are very similar. Both have had a bit of extra chrome/rechroming done. Two great original paint bikes
New sub! Beautiful 😎
Thanks for the sub!
Do you still have it.
That's a beautiful bike. I guess the bat wing is long gone? I have an 84 FLH, bought it new.
It came with the batwing that it came with and had never been installed!
That colour!
Nice AMF

Ever ridden them with a buddy seat!? Pure trash.

So, Danny Dredlocks, why was it leaking oil? 🤷🏿♂️
You don’t know what wet sumping is?
Prefer the white seat
Thanks for watching!
Someone spent a lot of money on chrome trying to hide the fact it's an AMF.
Don't like the boxes on the back.
Thanks for your feedback!
