My touchpad settings are completely missing and it's not showing up in the device manager at all. There's no button to show hidden devices, and I've tried checking for hardware changes multiple times. I don't have a clue what to do next... If it helps at all, the last time I shut it off I just turned it off in the settings. It was still functional despite being listed as off, but now it's not showing up at all and isn't functional at all. I'm so confused and a bit stressed out. EDIT: Restarting fixed it!! That was _so_ weird lol
@@kalpitmomaya916 No, but what does help is to push the function key simultaneously tapping the left mouse button which suspends the auto crap for a time being. Microsoft and Logitech should stop their petty war.
Microsoft refuses to recognize their competitors product. So no, the options menu does not work for Logitech. So you cannot use Microsoft to control Microsoft's crappy mouse control. So, I do not use the options menu or any menu. On my logitech keyboard I press the FN key while tapping the left logitech mouse button. That suspends the auto select, auto edit, the auto Microsoft unwanted crap mouse functions.
@@zoro.joro32 It's been some time so I don't remember exactly, but if you open the menu with windows key + x, then each time you press tab the selection highlight will go down one step, and press enter to select.
i have a really unique problem , touchpad is totally removed from the mice devices option and not even available in additional settings, I restarted so many times sometimes it appears and disappears when I shut my laptop window down for sleep or when I plug my wired mouse , it gets disappeared I have installed another driver online it worked for that time , now when it disappeared again , I cant even install the driver again , warning window comes and says no need to install synaptic driver what ? what does it mean It is not even showing in every single fucking place in my laptop pls someone know help me ....
I have ELAN installed and updated and visible in device manager, but it doesn't show as a tab when I open "Mouse properties". Any idea why? I have already restarted the PC.
Hi it did not work for me also tried msdt.exe DeviceDiagnostics (The old Trouble shooter from win seven and before) in Admin command prompt, found two faults I2C which it say,s it fixed. And this one:- Intel (R) Trusted Execution Engiine Interface in Device Manager. UEFI/BIOS set basic touchpad. I will reinstall Window as boot issues with ubuntu dual boot and see how I get on.
Hi bro Can you help to fix the problem, I installed ubuntu on windows 10 and they worked good but after I borrowed my pc portable to my freind and when he got back me my pc I found that the touchpad is not working I checked the manager devices on windows i did not find ps2 Synaptics touchpad pilote and then I showed up my hidden pilotes on touchpad and I found it with an error code 24 the device is not present...

Touchpad does not show in options 1 and2. I do not have touchpad appearing in settings device for option 3. When I plug in usb mouse it shows, but no touchpad. Any ideas?

Touchpad option does not show up in Settings. That's the whole point of coming to this video, the touchpad is not showing up. :(

You can use tab button to control the select position.
Device manager can be opened with win+x and tab to scroll.

fixed it. click on view and hidden **** (i forgot the name but it says show hidden). then I updated the driver on the human interface setting
