I lived in Baltimore for three years. I remember seeing my neighbor, an old lady, sitting on the stoop eating bags and bags of junk food. Every time she finished something, she would just throw the trash to the street. Candy wrappers, plastic cups, empty chip bags. And it wasn't just her. Many people do that in Baltimore. They use the streets as a dumpster. Where I'm from, you can't just do that. Especially not in the middle of the day, in the middle of the street, and in front of other people. You don't do that to a city you love. I love the city and it makes me extremely sad to see it like this.

This is so sad. I grow up in southwest Baltimore. After my Grandfather died we went through our old neighborhood. Most of the houses are abandoned and boarded up. My whole family lived there. Grandparents, great grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. All of the kids i grow up with moved away from there as soon as we could. We all moved out into Baltimore country or Carroll county.

Probably because of it's winter. Look on Google maps and you can see the same streets but the trees are greener. I saw the same situation when he filmed in Detroit. He just happened to film in the dead of winter so most of the trees had shed their leaves.

This is so sad. I grow up in southwest Baltimore. After my Grandfather died we went through our old neighborhood. Most of the houses are abandoned and boarded up. My whole family lived there. Grandparents, great grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. All of the kids i grow up with moved away from there as soon as we could. We all moved out into Baltimore country or Carroll county.

Picking up a trash bags already laying around and cleaning up a mess isn't expensive. I personally walk the highway and pick up trash near my home. No one pays me, no one tells me to do it. I do it because I have pride in my area and I don't want it to look like a shit hole. If two people in that neighbor hood, took up that cause, with the houses on each side of them, shit would get cleaned up.
