Thanks mate I didn't know these existed until now. Every Aussie and Kiwi my age had something to do with an Hq. They were taxis, cop cars, family cars, tow wagons, you name it. Then, in our twenties we turned them into street machines. I think the same era Camaro shares a very similar chassis. This is a 73 model you have.

The Kingswood is basically the Chevy Nova of Australia, everyone knows someone who owned one or grew up in the backseat of one. Although you could get the Kingswoods with V8s it's nice to see the straight six get some love.
