I think that her response was unrelaitable because a family member could have got rid of the sofa and the person who owned it would have been devastated. 😂 Stuff like this happens all the time.
The couch owner could have passed away and their children probably unknowingly gave up their furniture to a thrift store while cleaning out their deceased parent's home. Old people especially have this habit of storing cash in mattresses and couches because they have learned to not trust banks. This man Howard is a very ethical man. Those of you who are saying that you'd keep it, I'm really discouraged by you. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE would LOVE to keep it, but just because you WANT to do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD. Have the decency to at least find out who is the owner or the family. You never know how long this person worked for that money, and you don't deserve the money just because you found it. Only low lives with no ethics would take it. I don't care just how poor you think you are or how much you try to rationalize it in your head to assuage your cognitive dissonance--it takes a specially confident and ethical person to turn it in. If you've exhausted all your efforts to find the family or the owner and couldn't find them, then sure. But to not even try or ask around is sleazy and rat-like.
I would give it back directly to the family! One time I was at Autozone and I found 300.00 on the floor near where they sell seat covers and mats for the car. No one was around, I could have put it in my pocket and left. I walked around for awhile to see if anyone would come and look for it. Within 5 minutes this lady came in with her son desperately looking for money she said she must have dropped it at the store when her son was to rowing a tantrum. I walked up and said “how much” and she said the exact amount. And I directly gave it to her. I told her I didn’t feel comfortable leaving it with the manager so I waited for someone to come and claim it. She was so grateful she ended up paying for my new car seat cover and place mats (only like 40 bucks altogether) but I blessed her but not stealing and she blessed me back. #WinWin

From what I’m reading a family member died and the family kept the couch and and then donated it. They had no idea there was money in there they just wanted to get rid of it...
If I found 43,000 in a couch from a thrift store I will keep it i might give back some of it but not all of it what would all do let me know please and thank u
LaKeisha Knight but if you went to give back some of it if the family knew how much was in there they would definitely want all of it back and sue you if you didn’t 🤣
@@parissssky3291 they didnt know anything about the money so if she wanted to say oh I found 10k in this couch and keep the rest who would really know lol
Same, I once returned $100 to a random stranger that I wasn't even sure if he was the one who dropped it. He didn't even say thank you, so I regret giving it to HIM. But whatever..
Same man it would eat me up, I would give it back. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night and would constantly think about it. Nope it's going back where it came from
mini plants, I am the same way. I found $20 in Wal-Mart and turned it in at the customer service thinking they could find who dropped it on their security cameras and maybe recognize them being a regular customer. The manager just rolled her eyes. But I keep pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters lol. Even those I sometimes put in the McD's Ronald McDonald donation box.
Same. I once found a lot of money on the ground, I freaked out and didn't even pick it up. I felt stupid after....but at the moment I couldn't let myself take it. I don't know why. I get all scared and anxious about it lol.
Myia oh heck no god is there watching, i once ordered something and got 2 I bought the extra one back to the store to say an extra one got delivered the manager was like why didn’t you just keep it. I was like nope I know I didn’t pay for it, how can I call my self a Christian and keep what wasn’t mine to keep.
🗣🗣🗣I would take that money and INVEST in a business. People tend to put money in couches and mattresses because they didn’t trust banks due to the stock market crash. That’s why banks insure your money with FDIC!!!
$43,000 in the couch? That sounds really dodgy... I would return it just because I don't want to be hunted down, cause I know for a fact that the owner(who might be dangerous) is searching for it.
Kinda like what happened in the show good girls. They robbed a grocery store, got more than they were supposed to and then the Gang showed up at their house and they became part of the Gang after that.
I would give back the money. That’s just the right thing to do especially since it’s so much. Thank you, Tam! I have no shame in doing the right thing because it’s going to come back to me ten fold. There’s still some good people left in the world. That’s just like the lady in TX who had a lot of extra money deposited into her account by mistake. She called them up and told them what happened. It wasn’t hers and if she had spent it they would’ve been looking for their money. At the end of the day it’s stealing because it’s not yours. $43K is a lot of freaking money.
The answer is simple: 🗣 *FINDERS KEEPERS LOSERS WEEPERS* However I did find a wallet on the bus before (there was about $600 and credit-cards in it) I didn’t take anything inside, I simply told the bus driver and gave it to him... idk if the person ever got their wallet back lol but I think I did the right thing...
But that’s different. I, just like you have on many occasions have found a purse, wallet and especially cell phones and turned them in or to the owner. This is nit the same scenario. This was something the man purchased. If I buy something and there’s extra in it, it would then be mine. Who the hell accidentally forgets 40k in a damn old couch, someone who clearly isn’t worried or concerned about their coins imo lol
That's different...We talking about a thrift store where you buy as is and once you make the purchase everything that comes with it belongs to you now. Ijs
I actually liked Amanda's vibe w the girls. She's level-headed, super chill, funny and matches Jeannie's hood 😂 she didn't speak just to have a voice, she spoke when necessary and I respect that
Give it back to the family!! Why? This is a blessing in disguise and it will come in due season. The family may have some debts to pay off or put it aside for a rainy day!! Enough said!!

I’m not even gonna flex like I wouldn’t take it because I definitely would. Most of my stress is related to financial issues and I couldn’t pass up what could be the greatest blessing I’ve ever gotten.
I love Tamara's principles. I would have kept the money though. I would just think it is a blessing from God and return 10% of it to my trusted church.
I would do what Adrienne said...I find wallets all the time, I just mail it to their home, cash & all.Now if I find cash by itself, that was meant for me to keep, a little Gift from above 😋🎀🎁
Tam needs to realize. People are struggling to the point where they are on the verge of being homeless . If someone like that decides to keep the money in a situation like that. They may look at it as a blessing.
I would give it back. If I found a wallet on the street, I’d give that back too. It isn’t my business to be keeping other people’s money, even if I think I need it.
Also, Jeannie is such a HYPE QUEEN. Even if you would've returned the money you'd find yourself cheering and getting carried away for keeping the money😂😂🤣🤣
Lmao his granddaughter didn’t even know it was money in there!!! I would’ve kept that money no doubt. But I probably wouldn’t spend it for a long time just in case I get arrested lmao
I would give it back. I don’t know anybody’s situation and the money didn’t belong to me to begin with so there’s no need for me to have it. If God was really “blessing” me, he’d bless me in other ways that are more beneficial to my life. (Health, family, happiness, love, etc)
It was a thift store, and once I paid for the couch it became mine. The money in it is now considered donations and I thank God for the family who gave me such a huge blessings...😄
I would 110% GIVE THE MONEY BACK!!! You don't take what is not yours. I don't have alot of money BUT what I do have is integrity and morals which can be hard to come by as seen on this show. I also have 2 children you are watching my every move and I am their #1 example in life. I teach them not to take what is not theirs.
I would honestly give it back. It wouldn’t sit right with my spirit to keep it. And if roles were reversed, I would want my money back or at least for my family to have it if I’m no longer around.
I would definitely do exactly what Adrienne described... Find a way to return it directly to the family. My immediate thought was someone, maybe a family member, donated that couch without knowing that's where this person was hiding the money. I personally couldn't bring myself to use that money, it's not mine.
The Lord brings you amazing things in odd packaging. He deemed that the previous owner did not need that money they way you do, or else they would not give away the couch. God does not give you more then you can handle. Who gives back a gift from God. The constellations and Cosmo came together and said here 43k, what are you doing telling the universe “nah I’m good” the cosmos are going to look over you the next time.
Yes, it depends! I said if it was a poor grandmothers life savings she’s definitely getting it all back. The highbrow wealthy? I keep it. Anyone else, negotiate a 50/50 split (with lawyers involved so they can’t come after you later for it).
Now when my Grandfather died and we had to go through his things, we did find money he had stored in a box that was placed in a tucked away spot. Maybe the fam did not know.
I remember an article years ago about a family that cleared out a relatives apartment after they had passed and then found out during the will reading that the departed had actually hidden the money in their mattress. So I would definitely give it back cuz that would be bad karma.
No one forgets they have $43k in a couch...something is off.
That was my first thought! You don't want to get caught up with whatever that money was tied to.
The guy who owned it died.
The owner died and the family gave it away

girl whatever, "im proud of you". what's not to be proud of if someone kept it. they BOUGHT that couch they didn't STEAL it.
Question: What does the Family or Person do for a living to lose $43,000 and not notice it missing?
Exactly
From what I’m reading a family member died and the family kept the couch and and then donated it. They had no idea there was money in there they just wanted to get rid of it...

jeannie was possessed by tamar's ghost ...i swear LOL ..... she actin' up this segment ..love ya jeannie
I was thinking the same thing. She stole Tamar mannerisms.

Yes jeannie and amanda keeping it real. I'm keeping it. Jeannie had me rolling at the end. ❤❤❤❤❤her 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤩
@Tyisha Powell facts
Yea, what is going on with her. She starting to remind me of a BLK woman.. LMBO
@@emanualcarr7408 lmao
I would keep it and talk myself into believing it was a gift from God because he sees my struggle and knows my heart lol
Keep it lol sorry tamera I do love you but I'm not giving it back.
Tamara, Adrienne, and that man are fools!
Me neither. You know some of us black folks would swear it’s God blessing us.lol You know you don’t turn down your blessings.
Kim Wright and I say Amen
Kim Wright not just black folks lol but I get your point.
Joey Jackson No they are not fools god bless their hearts 🙄🙄🙄
Loni's face at 4:21 is like "really🤨?" Lol, she ain't buying it!
Man all of that money would go to my college tuition 😂😂😂😂
Thank you, I'd do the same thing. College ain't cheap.
GiGi flavien Sthelen right ?!? Like 2 classes would be $1000
@@122jhe exactly
White tiger omg yes!!!!!!!!!!!
@@122jhe seriously? Why is it so expensive??!
Lmfaooooo Jeannie’s dance at the end. I love her!!
I would sow my 10% and keep it moving 🤷🏾♀️😂
I was thinking 20% ... It's a sign from God
🤣🤣🤣
I’m not giving no % to nobody but myself and thank the creator for my finding’s
Lmaooo facts !
Yes probably a little more tithing then 10% but I most likely take it as a blessing
Tamara, baby, I wouldn’t “lose” $45k 🤷🏻♀️🤣
It’s called a return on an investment, periodt
😂
Lol facts
If I found 43,000 in a couch from a thrift store I will keep it i might give back some of it but not all of it what would all do let me know please and thank u
LaKeisha Knight but if you went to give back some of it if the family knew how much was in there they would definitely want all of it back and sue you if you didn’t 🤣
@@parissssky3291 they didnt know anything about the money so if she wanted to say oh I found 10k in this couch and keep the rest who would really know lol
JEANNIE @4:29 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
"All that money is my hunnai" lol Jeannie Mai
Does anyone else feel like Adrienne was lying when she first stared talking lol she was soo tongue tied.
idk about yall but finding money that isnt mine makes me anxious lol. I would give it back out of fear and guilt
mini plants depends but for the most part I would give it back but with the way I’m struggling right now
Same, I once returned $100 to a random stranger that I wasn't even sure if he was the one who dropped it.
I mean I did buy the couch. So the $43K was included.😭
That's exactly what I said. He technically paid for the WHOLE couch including that 43K.
Plot twist: the money in the couch was money some of the coworkers stole and they put it in the couch to take later and they forgot to take it out lol
PRESS PLAY 😂😂😂😂
FAAACSS
Ain't that much petty cash in the world.
So many plot twists!
DAAAAANG
Tamera: I’m not dropping anything around you girls, nah-uh. LOL
I’m keeping it!! If they forgot 43K was in their couch they obviously don’t need it🤷🏽♀️😂
Myia Exactly!!😂😂
PERIOD🤣
Myia oh heck no god is there watching, i once ordered something and got 2 I bought the extra one back to the store to say an extra one got delivered the manager was like why didn’t you just keep it. I was like nope I know I didn’t pay for it, how can I call my self a Christian and keep what wasn’t mine to keep.
🤣🤣 yes! I love Jeannie, honest and hilarious! I would definitely keep the money!
🗣🗣🗣I would take that money and INVEST in a business.
People tend to put money in couches and mattresses because they didn’t trust banks due to the stock market crash.
That’s why banks insure your money with FDIC!!!
Also, drugs.
I love Jeannie she’s a whole vibe!❤️
Love her too.
$43,000 in the couch? That sounds really dodgy... I would return it just because I don't want to be hunted down, cause I know for a fact that the owner(who might be dangerous) is searching for it.
The owner died.
Kinda like what happened in the show good girls. They robbed a grocery store, got more than they were supposed to and then the Gang showed up at their house and they became part of the Gang after that.
@@victoriasmith2965 fax loves that show
xxx jay have you watched YOU on netflix ? I love it even more than good girls . If you haven't seen it you def should !!
Well Tam revealed they be revisiting topics😂😂😂
Yakhanna They recycle all of them.
Loni face expression when the audience say they would give the money back 👀👀👀😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The answer is simple: 🗣 *FINDERS KEEPERS LOSERS WEEPERS* However I did find a wallet on the bus before (there was about $600 and credit-cards in it) I didn’t take anything inside, I simply told the bus driver and gave it to him... idk if the person ever got their wallet back lol but I think I did the right thing...
If it's like a purse or wallet, I would ignore my hand itching and turn that in. There's identification and fraud involved
That's different...We talking about a thrift store where you buy as is and once you make the purchase everything that comes with it belongs to you now. Ijs
Naylani R credit card is different it can be traced back to you
If you can track it then I don’t want it 😂
I actually liked Amanda's vibe w the girls. She's level-headed, super chill, funny and matches Jeannie's hood 😂 she didn't speak just to have a voice, she spoke when necessary and I respect that
I love Jeannie at the ending 😂
Honestly when he Paid for the couch everything attached to it and in was his from that sale... I’m just saying.
Litigation is your path young brother!!!
Jeannie’s explanation/ rant, her exaggerated reactions, the side eye... in THAT chair... I’m getting Tamar vibes 😎
Honest to God. I would’ve been like, OMG thank you Lord for this blessing!! 🙏🏾 🙌🏾😂
Loved this segment! Fun and light hearted 💕🎉
Give it back to the family!! Why? This is a blessing in disguise and it will come in due season. The family may have some debts to pay off or put it aside for a rainy day!! Enough said!!
The bible says “says finders keepers , losers weepers”. It says it right next to the part where it says “seek and yee shall find”.
AYYEMENDT!
Stah-pit!!! 😂😂😂
Jeanie is hilarious😂🤣 her lil dance at the end😭
I would’ve kept it THE HELL! He gave it back because he has money lol
he bought his house at a thrift store, i highly doubt he has alot of money
couch*
He probably thought it was drug money 🤷🏾♀️
The couch owner passed away and their children unknowingly gave up their furniture to a thrift store while cleaning out their deceased parent's home.
I’m not even gonna flex like I wouldn’t take it because I definitely would. Most of my stress is related to financial issues and I couldn’t pass up what could be the greatest blessing I’ve ever gotten.
I am so weak at Jeannie at the end everybody was clapping 😂😂😂😂
I love Tamara's principles. I would have kept the money though. I would just think it is a blessing from God and return 10% of it to my trusted church.
The Lord gonna get that 10% with my High Yield Savings account getting that other 90% 🤷🏾♀️🤣
Amen🙏🙏🙏🙋♀️
Michelle 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The finder should be rewarded with a nice new couch and a big screen TV! I would give it back after some DEEP soul searching!
I would do what Adrienne said...I find wallets all the time, I just mail it to their home, cash & all.Now if I find cash by itself, that was meant for me to keep, a little Gift from above 😋🎀🎁
Girl that's what I said
That’s it.
Mø Nälayé nah I’m honest honest 😂
Also, Jeannie is such a HYPE QUEEN. Even if you would've returned the money you'd find yourself cheering and getting carried away for keeping the money😂😂🤣🤣
Lmao his granddaughter didn’t even know it was money in there!!! I would’ve kept that money no doubt. But I probably wouldn’t spend it for a long time just in case I get arrested lmao
Now I understand the seating arrangement with Cousin’s Amanda and Jeanie and Mrs.Housely & Mrs.Adrienne lmao 😂, Amanda and Jeanie finna be wild 😜
No, I would keep the money... that's like winning a lottery 😂😂
I would give it back. I don’t know anybody’s situation and the money didn’t belong to me to begin with so there’s no need for me to have it. If God was really “blessing” me, he’d bless me in other ways that are more beneficial to my life. (Health, family, happiness, love, etc)
Nobody hides this much money in a couch without that money being a lil sketchy...I mean cmon 43k? Nah....
It was a thift store, and once I paid for the couch it became mine. The money in it is now considered donations and I thank God for the family who gave me such a huge blessings...😄
Keep it. I’m struggling hell.
Nikeyia Autry me too, living paycheck to paycheck, nah I am keeping that money
Thank you Jeanie!! 🗣 IT’S MINE NOW BOO!! That’s the blessing I was praying for 😂😂
I 💖 Jeannie!!! She is so relatable.
That's right Tamara, don't drop nothing around them girls!. LOL
I'm keeping it. Legally its mine if I bought the couch.
@1:31 “And then for wHY?” haha that was pretty funny
Jeannie you're giving me life😂
I would 110% GIVE THE MONEY BACK!!!
I would give it back not because “it’s the right thing to do” but you don’t know where that money came from or what that person did to get. No thanks!
KITTEN MAYZ I would probably not touch it for months to see if anyone claims it 🤷🏾♀️
Bruh times are tuff I believe it’s a blessing and I happily accept🤙🏽
The Lord brings you amazing things in odd packaging.
He deemed that the previous owner did not need that money they way you do, or else they would not give away the couch.
God does not give you more then you can handle.
Who gives back a gift from God.
The constellations and Cosmo came together and said here 43k, what are you doing telling the universe “nah I’m good” the cosmos are going to look over you the next time.
Jeannie Mae is my spirit animal 😭😭... I just love her 😂
I would’ve needed to meet the owners and decide for myself if they deserve it back 🤷🏾♀️😂
😆🤣😂 Aye thats ah fact 💯
Sound like a episode from 'Martin'
When they hit the "lotto" 😂
Yes, it depends! I said if it was a poor grandmothers life savings she’s definitely getting it all back. The highbrow wealthy? I keep it. Anyone else, negotiate a 50/50 split (with lawyers involved so they can’t come after you later for it).
Hahaha Jeannie even got a dance out of it 😂😂😂
Now when my Grandfather died and we had to go through his things, we did find money he had stored in a box that was placed in a tucked away spot. Maybe the fam did not know.
“and then for why” lmao Jeannie 😭😭😂
jeannie makes herself out to be such a good person until in these types of situations 😂😂
I remember an article years ago about a family that cleared out a relatives apartment after they had passed and then found out during the will reading that the departed had actually hidden the money in their mattress. So I would definitely give it back cuz that would be bad karma.
