    what about coronal cataracts, where the lens is clear, but the iris is beginning to cloud over?

    I'm sorry that I watched this video. Nothing wrong with the doctor or the explanation. I just found out that cataract surgery is in my future, for both eyes. (Not in the immediate future, but inevitable.) I hated knowing what the surgery involves. A cut to the eye? Too scary to contemplate. I'll try to forget what I learned.

    Nowhere did you explain WHAT the cataract ACTUALLY WAS. A clouding up OF WHAT
