It took me a while to realize but, when the mom was a child the male(son) got more love and she(daughter) was abused so it lead her to hate the male child aka her son because she felt the male got favoritism so she didn’t want to repeat what her mom did except she neglected her son and basically repeated what had happened to her but with her son. Overall her trauma caused her to favor the female except she didn’t realize she was neglected her son because she was just so traumatized from her mother.
situations like this are more common than people think. Abusers do what they’re abusers did to them because its what they were influenced around and didnt get the proper care of a real stable home but this isnt always the cause for every case. Its not right for abusers from abusers to abuse their kids. If you are being abused I advice you to go to therapy if possible to make sure not to drag the family abusing line. I pray for those out there who are dealing with abuse right now and get better when the future comes.

Yes...my mother abused me because I looked like my father, and I also suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder related to the guy. Due to this, I isolated myself from others and I still have a slight prejudice against children as a whole. That's why I don't have any of my own, nothing other than the fear of hurting someone close to you, the same in the case of your partner. My partners are also afraid that I will hurt her..
