      @@ShadowFlyer Hey I am currently enrolled to Liberty University, could you tell me what your schedule was like day to day while doing Air Force ROTC?

      @@haudang3835 Hey! Sorry for taking awhile to reply, I'm at Air Assault right now. So normal day to day is very similar to any other college student. The main difference is that you will wake up for PT every Tuesday/Thursday (6-7am) and you'll leave a little after 11am on Tuesday for AFROTC classes. For that reason, most of your classes will be on MWF with maybe one T/Th or some online as well. Your Thursday's tend to feel like a nice break since you don't have many classes. Most cadets like to use Thursday to catch up on work, clean, relax, and prepare for whatever's coming up. As for Tuesday's schedule. We leave for UVA at 11:15 and Freshmen usually have their class as soon as they get there. Then there'll be a short break before the Sophomore's class. If you're not taking both, you'll get a bit over an hour to eat, relax, play pool, or study your notes for that week. Then we all have LLab (Leadership Lab) together until 5:30pm. From there, we load up on the bus and head home when everyone's ready. It's a long day, but there's plenty of free time to get stuff done if you have a lot of classes.

      Andrew Jender ah okay that’s cool, so for the scholarship would I still be able to get one? I’m only asking because one the website it says I need a SAT or ACT score but I never tooked them since I went straight to Community college and I have a GPA of 2.5 what are my chances of getting a scholarship?

      @@haudang3835 I'm not sure if you'd be able to apply for one without an ACT/SAT score. Also, unless I'm mistaken, I believe you need a 3.0 GPA minimum to apply (and even higher to be more competitive). The good news is that if you transfer to somewhere like Liberty, your GPA kinda resets in a way since your previous classes will transfer in without grades (simply pass/fail). So if you do well your first semester at Liberty, you can change the GPA fairly easily. If you need more information about scholarships, I recommend emailing the Detachment at afrotc@virginia.edu. They have more updated information about AFROTC scholarships and could answer questions with more certainty.

    Do you have to travel to UOV each week in order to be in the program?

    • @ShadowFlyer
      @ShadowFlyer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, they actually just started doing it so Liberty cadets do almost all of their training at Liberty other than a few events that are off-site/combined with the other schools.
