Single Stream Pollution - Belleville, IL

In this Video I show you the outlet from a stormwater runoff culvert that comes from Belleville’s Single Stream Recycling area.
Here you can clearly see that the single stream recycling is polluting runoff water with plastics and microplastics. Other contaminants are surely present, although most are invisible.
