J vD your dads band is very special. Ray, your dad and the boys made some real magic. They are a huge insperation and got me through some tough times. Theyre music was with me through a tough part of my life and i look back and listen and im flooded with wonderfull memories. Your dad is special. Parkers eyes is one of my favs. Lol one of many actually. You guys went theough a lot and through it all i was there for you all in spirit. I wish you all the best and thank you guys from my heart. James say hello to hour dad for me plse. Thanks. Tell him the last two records are amazing. :)
This band kicks so much ass! I just discovered them about 8 months ago and I have since purchased all their albums. Great compositions and great vocals! Killer.
I'm a huge Fates Warning fan. This is the 1st time I've actually listen to Redemption and they kick ass! They're awesome! Ray has got to be one of the hardest working men in the business and damn, what an amazing voice he has! Sharing this to Facebook! I used to be a Rave promoter and I guess I still have a bit of the promo in me!
@erbseschaeddel Redemption's latest is the SUPERLATIVE "This Mortal Coil", which chronicles Nicolas van Dyk's battle with and triumph over the cancer. Incredible album.
man ...this band is f. awesome...if I were ther I´d be probably going crazy... the audience is so f. distant (probably "frozen in the moment" ahah)... Prog F. Metal!
...really, really, good ...trippy like "Julie Andrews mud wrestles Betty White in an adult diaper ho-down ...top notch imagination and playing ... having a pillow fight in a dream only to awake and find your hands around your pillow, only its not your pillow but an open bag of charcol briquets-in a nutshell these guys are incredible-wow! ...intense song construction ...like eating sushi and a stranger says "do you work here cause my soup was cold and my wife was pissed" -just stunning music
@MightySaturn5 Yeah there are worse things. I am just surprised that the audience for the most part doesn't seem to be all that into it, which is kind of lame.
@stiltonchees "worst audience? ...being that the guy in row 7(seat 6) took that Kenmoore dryer and bashed 5 people into collapsed accordian's of coma's I guess I kind of agree however there could actually be audiences that are even worse -instead of a single guy in row 7 crushing 5 hippies in a single bound what if 50 (100 hands) all gave one stoned fool a lightning fast power-wedgie...personally I think the audience that caused a guys teste's to show up in throat x-rays seems worse
I really like this band and listen to their origins of ruin album quite a lot. I even like the vocals; his voice reminds me of Blaze Bailey. However, there is something that really moves me away: "everyone knows that we live in a world Where people give bad names to beautiful things" why do they do this direct reference to a marillion song? by the way his voice can't reach the high notes which is a pity for a prog band playing live. They are there for showing performance, right?
@fhmetal Agree... and shit, if you are going to be in the front you better fucking rock out, otherwise you let some who will take your spot. This performance is great (granted the showmanship is not some of the best I've seen, but the music is very together, in tune, well excecuted) but the audience is maybe the worst I've ever seen.

Thanks for all the support on my dad's band!
