Most singers perform worse live, a few are able to perform as well live as in studio, and every once in a while a singer comes along who actually sounds better live. Hozier is one of those special ones.

Apparently for this one he wanted to write a song about dancing, I think it’s incredible how you can almost hear the kinetic energy in his voice, like you said, it’s a little ridiculous how effortless it seems, thank you so much for reacting to it! I'm actually pretty sure that performance isn't live, i've listened to them back to back several times and they sound identical in every way. That being said, It's a lot more fun to watch them than the original video for it
