Oh, hey, that's the version of the Lander 1 I have too! I never noticed the contouring - I hope I have those scales around here somewhere still. The QSP action is SO snappy that I don't feel I'm missing out with this new version. Still, it's a GREAT knife and a nice option to have in the Knafs lineup
