You can read the data from excel, then using OpenSTAAD functions, create one or multiple load cases in the STAAD model and apply those reactions as nodal load.

Hi dada. I am also from JU. 2012 batch. I am facing problem with Staad 2023 VBA reference in excel file. Excel reference is not updated after new staad installation. Even browsing path for new staadpro.dll is not working. "Error in loading dll is being shown". Can you tell how to fix?

If you install older v8i version of STAAD first and then try to use STAAD CONNECT Edition or 2023, this problem occurs. One way - remove older version from the system and delete all supporting files/registry keys. That normally solves this issue.

Is there any method of extracting column and beam reinforcement from staadpro connect edition to excel or note pad or word
It takes lot of time to write physically the reinforcement.

It is not possible to extract concrete design results using OpenSTAAD, but it can be achieved by reading the output file. You can develop a code which will extract the reinforcement data from output file. More efficient way is to use STAAD Advanced concrete design mode with basic/advanced STAAD license, which produce tabular format output.

Can it be used in pyrated version of staad?

Physical modeler doesn't support OpenSTAAD functions, but the analytical model generated in the background can be used for automation.

How to down load staad pro student version software

You can download and use most of the Bentley software including STAAD with your school code - this is a unique code that has been used to register your college. You need to create your Bentley profile (login ID and password), and link your account to your college using school code and that's all. Once your account has been linked and activated, you can visit Bentley student server and download STAAD and other software. You can visit Bentley education page for more details and software download link -- education.bentley.com/
