Always room for improvement, but headed in the right direction!
They're here in Canada too, now we wait for the 56" wheeled version. Wheels might suck but that won't stop me from dragging it on the ground
The old clamshell bag is perfect for the 18v compressor, 25' of hose, and a handful of air tools. My original, blue clamshell is currently being used in that manner.
Thanks for the review.
Got the RYOBI RSSLTB1 large bag. Luv it! 👍
I miss my old blue duffle type bag with wheels, I loved that bag but it dyed after 12 years of hard use.
it's a good start. they need to continue refining.
Finally they are making good decent bags the previous older bags the big green bag that he showed is what the older ryobi bag is use when buying the 6 combo kit like 6 to 7 years ago I heated that bag nice to know they are making these bags.
I had the older bag "the biggest one" still have it but unfortunately it has holes everywhere on the bottom. I was thinking about buying a new one because I hate the holes but it's refreshing to see these new bags. I have most of Ryobi tools and always liked them but I've never cared for the bags. These new bags give me hope and I think this guy is being to picky really but I'll be checking into these.
I have that backpack and rolling bag! Haven’t used them yet but they look and feel nice. I’ll try them very soon!
Can you tell me your impression from them?
@@tarasb2242 honestly really like them and even though they were cheap for what they were they don’t feel cheap. Plenty of storage and space too!
As an underground miner. Mybeyes got wide when I seen the backpack. I'm not sold on the straps/handles for durability. I have a Swiss backpack I've been using for 3+months now. The zippers are strong, the weak points are the handle and straps too. Ihave remedied some fishing line in all the fail points, and it's been great. It was $40, bit it carries 30+lbs in tools daily
We will have to see how well the straps hold up.
If you get a chance, check out the Purdy painters backpack. It's very well built.
I wish they were already available in Canada as well here. The backpack would be great. I might get one tote back from them. I'm almost completed that's 24 inches compared to what ryobi has as a tote bag.
Yeah its dumb that they are not available everywhere
@@SolelyRyobi the only major complaint that I have from Ryobi(aka TTI) Is that especially for Canada and the US. Since we're like nextdoor neighbors to each other. They should try and synchronize both side on the new products come out. Since it seems like on the Canadian side we have to wait those extra months before they become available here.
Thank you for a good overview. How do they hold up now, after eight months? Especially a backpack.
So far pretty good. I do wish the zippers where a bit better
@@SolelyRyobi Thank you for the answer.
I have a back pack. It’s very usefull, but zippers are not YKK. Will they reliable? I don’t think so.
Can't understand why these weren't introduced in the US earlier I bought 2, 14 inch bags (UTB2) shipped to me from the UK over a year ago That I either got off of Amazon or eBay.
The bags aren't available at my Home Depot store yet. Just purchased a 16 inch bag from Home Depot online and it's taking 2 weeks to get it on Feb 14.
I have too many tools that the old clamshell ripped.
So added a hardshell without making it fit into the Link system, seems like a waste
I've been trying to call Ryobi because how about some tools from Ryobi at home Depot and it's been a year and I still haven't done hold of people from home Depot from Ryobi because I wanted some bags and I wanted to register my tooth and they never did answer me back
Not impressed 😶, they would need to beat Husky and Klein soft tool bags just to get in... thanks for showing them though
This is exactly what I was looking for……the photos online don’t give you proper representation.
Is it just me, or did this guy audition, unsuccessfully, for a dozen HSN spots before he decided to strike out on his own?
The plastic on the front is awful 😢
