If you're interested in a boom arm and something that doesn't take up as much space or doesn't obstruct your view of your monitors maybe this one from Thronmax is one to look at getting.
I was using a boom arm from Kmart Australia for a long time and while it was fine and definitely got in the way and so I'm really happy with what the team at Thronmax have put together!

Hi, thanks for the video. I agree with you on the Elgato low profile boom arm’s drawback on the magnetic cable management covers - I ended up velcroeing them down. :) Could you pls tell me how tall is the bigger extension bit that goes on the base? I haven‘t found any information on it.

I bought this and overall pretty happy with it. The flexibility of the arm at it's price point really set it apart, and I can't stress how helpful the vertical extensions are. They allow your desk to be totally accessible with a low profile design. However, when I assembled it, I noticed a few manufacturing deficiencies. The second arm had some scratches, there was some small but noticeable CNC machining imperfections, and when I attached the second arm a few metal shavings came out of the arm. Also, for whatever reason, the tension mechanism doesn't work on my arm. When I try to tighten or loosen it, it seems to keep the same tension regardless. But it manages to be at a degree of tension which works perfectly for my mic (presonus revelator dynamic, great mic).
If you're sensitive to build quality, this may or may not be a great choice, but I still like it a lot personally especially at the price. I'm looking forward to using it for many years (hopefully lol)
