We're nervous and excited to open our second site. We will be documenting the process from build to opening on our channel.
Make sure you subscribe to see what happens...
Follow our journey as we risk everything to open a new restaurant. From finding the perfect location to creating a menu, we're sharing our highs and lows in this exciting new venture!

I literally just came back from Fallow 3 hours ago.
Found these guys on TH-cam and been hooked on the channel.
Said to the wife, WE HAVE TO GO HERE.
Did not disappoint.
Corn ribs are like crack.
Mussels with Bacon Butter, unreal.
Carrot salad, trust me. Is a must.
Monkfish tikka massala, farkin hell.
Absolute 10/10
farkin hell monkfish lmao
If I ever go to London, I am absolutely going.
the corn ribs... insanity
I went today for the first time for a roast. Had the corn ribs, a beef roast and whiskey miso butter cocktail. One of the few roast dinners i've eaten where every single element on the plate was cooked perfectly. Service was incredible too. Wicked place.
Good luck lads quality will win.
They deserve the best. Best energy, best intentions & best hearts deserve the best
This is documentary-quality editing and storytelling. I love this and I cannot wait to get to the UK one day so I can eat there!
So looks like the Fallow Heddon St. Restaurant is already ‘permanently closed’. Please keep your St. James’s location of Fallow open until at least the end of June - because I’m planning a trip to London then, and *really* want to try a British Sunday roast meal, and want to have yours (after I saw that ‘Inside Food’ YT channel, an American + a British guy try out different London restaurants for Sunday roast dinners!).❤ Of course I hope it stays profitable and in business for YEARS to come - I’m just being selfish about the June date!👍
We need a chef's table on Netflix for these.
Cool!! Please vlog as much as you can about building, designs, issues, wins, and mistakes. The journey, the ups and downs, is what makes things like this very fun to watch. If everything is always perfect, that it feels put on. I think it can also help to get people emotionally invested in the success of the new place as well, people watch the stress from this episode all the way to opening night. But if not, I'll be here for the content you already put out, as it fun watching talented people to the thing they're great at doing. God Bless!
That haymarket rent must be astronomical
Hmmmmm. Yes Haymarket is not Soho but its not far at all from Soho, people can still easily get there in a tube stop from the top London night life spots. People like to go to Soho because because they can go to a bar before, or the theatre after, and it has a vibe. Canary Wharf (worked there for 3 years) is devoid of life in the evenings and on the weekend, despite what that estate sales agent will tell you. Its far out out enough that people have to go out of there way only to go to your restaurant and cant combine it with other London nightlife things, like they would in Soho.
You've got this boys! Give it your best shot and it will work, I have no doubt.
Smash it Gents..
Well deserved, maybe a followers night in the future?! 👍
I hope that you're making a series documenting the restaurant opening
Is this in addition to the Haymarket restaurant? I haven't had the chance to visit yet and would hate to see that site close!
I had dinner at Fallow this past Sunday, April 7th. Everything was excellent. Had the mushroom parfait, curry wurst, cods head, mussels. Thanks for an excellent evening out.
Good luck with the new project 👍
I feel like canary wharf is way less of a risk than the original location to be honest.
Went tonight. The food and service was incredible, 10/10, congratulations!
Canary Wharf definitely an odd one for an independent fine dining restaurant, but as you said so is the heartland of grimey tourist London! Can see the appeal of having a huge space to work with compared to cramming into a small unit in a less risky location like West London or Islington.
Good luck lads
Following this channel for quite a while now. Being from California, I would travel to London simply just to visit Fallow. These guys are absolutely phenomenal and deserve an immense amount of success in the future. Well done fellas.
“Welcome to How to open a Restaurant like a. Chef” ep1” 😂 Banter aside! All the best to you guys! ( all 3 of ya! ) love the content. And to see this journey. Awesome!
I’m from the US and went to London for the first time in 2022, but found Fallow’s TH-cam page a couple weeks after I left. Since then, I’ve been waiting to go back to London to go to Fallow! Can’t wait to see the new restaurant. Best of luck you guys!
Keep the boys front and centre and keep building their mystique and more importantly the fun! I’m sure in 5 years time you will be laughing at how silly it was to worry when you are opening up your 5th store lol.
I've had the pleasure of eating at both fallow and fowl and they are both amazing I don't think you guys have anything to worry about Roe will surely be as amazing I hope I'll be able to try it later this year.
Truly so happy for you guys! The Follow team as a whole, kitchen, BoH, FoH and bar! You have all worked so hard together over the past three years, like a well oiled service machine! I can not wait to dine again with you in Canary Wharf! And hopefully see you all at the opening night.
Better to try and take on the new challenge as opposed to not and always wondering if what might have been!
I tried Roe the other day for their soft launch and it was amazing! Gorgeous space, good prices, good cocktails and of course, very good food. Would highly recommend.
Don't do it. Hold on what you have.
Been fanboying in Miami but moving to Canary Wharf month’s end. Can’t wait!👏🏼
Massive risk opening in canary, huge natural footfall in Haymarket, and central location, whole vibe is different, good luck and hope you smash it.
I’d be curious (I know nothing about restaurants) whether footfall matters that much? With this kind of place I visited from Ireland after hearing about it on Instagram. I’d imagine word of mouth and who lives and works in the general area is much more important? As opposed to someone walking by and selecting it based on the menu outside for example.
@@allenwixted1992 Sorry, by footfall i mean St James has a lot more people visiting it for other reasons than say just going to Fallow, but Roe is one of only a few reasons you might want to visit that part of Canary Wharf, its a very quiet area at weekends and at times like Easter, Christmas and Bank holidays, roe might become a specific reason to visit the area, but even at that there is a lot less footfall. If i was in London for the day i may visit Fallow as it's location is perfect, not sure i would book Roe though, too much of a detour.
@@deadnicedave ah I get you! Maybe they’ll be able to make a few more expensive and creative dishes there with the financial crowd? Will be interesting to see if it’s the same menu. But yeah I get you!
@@allenwixted1992 If anyone can make it work the Fallow boys can.
Love this honesty, I'm not from London and I've never been to fallow but I have bought into your story via youtube and hope to visit one day. Good luck
By far one of the best and most interesting cooking channels on TH-cam. Hope to visit soon. Good luck!
Good luck lads. I love Fallow. Please keep the same ethos in your new place. I can't wait to visit.
Good luck gents, you're going to be my first real meal when I step off the plane from Sydney.
I have no doubt whatsoever you're going to wake up Canary Wharf and show them how it's done!
In my extensive book you guys are epic and have the best approach. The world needs more like you!
Agreed. They're literally a model for me & I do smthng COMPLETELY different
Thanks John, hope you are well!
Sharing profits for one restaurant prob isn’t enough. 2 makes sense
Yea I mean, we don’t need any more restaurants. We need better pay + healthcare + education. This is literally a waste of time, energy + resources
Good luck lads, its a good move in my opinion as Canary Wharf is attracting a new crowd these days especially being so close to venues such as Excel and O2 Arena.
I would watch this as a series they're great reminds me of a realistic bear without all the hyperextended drama which does occur in the kitchen. As a cook I follow your videos for inspiration as a consumer I watch your videos good look guys. From across the pond, well the other side lol
Y'all are so damn inspiring, especially to someone from the north! Excited to visit and see how the expansion leads to bigger and better things for the whole team, including AJ!
I'm one of the lucky few breakfast on Saturday can't wait amazing place and people xx
incredible work ethic. I'm a chef and I wouldve given up cooking full time and be living off of my 400k sub channel if I were you guys.
All the best!
Looking forward to hearing more about your journey and your success. Very likeable lads, humble and down to earth but extremely professional and massively talented. Very good vid too, well shot and edited. All the best gents, go smash it!
Would this not be their 3rd restaurant? Thought they already had fallow & fowl?
Yes
Did he say he’s from Bolton?
Absolutely best of luck. This is only been up an hour but I've already watched it 2x. You're such an inspiration and practically a model in my own line of work & I do smthng COMPLETELY different
Can't wait to visit when I'm back in London
Upscale like a chef 😂❤
Oh, boys…I wish you would expand into the States. ❤
Absolutely smash it lads. Been watching this business grow for many years. You deserve the success ❤ " Shout out Bolton"! Doing our town proud 👏
This will quickly become the most well known restaurant in London. We’ll also be seeing these chaps on TV a hell of a lot as well. Best of luck!
Rare example, when hard work pays off. Finger cross you boys will smash it.
If it is Fallow, Fowl or Roe, you will be successful and I am always so sad that I cannot visit any of them (health issues). Good luck 🍀🍀🍀🍀
Constant successful risk taking that rewards, fuels passion and prevents burnout. Which keeps the best and brightest longing to work with you.
I’m almost the only family member not to eat with you- and now you’re moving that little bit closer👍
You guys deserve it all, work ethic is unreal and your care and love towards food and the industry is second to none. Hope the new place thrives
Good luck guys, love your attitude and appreciation for your team!
Can't wait to try it! Hawksmoor in Wood Wharf is always packed.
Man oh man, this is so promessing, the space and your vision are going to produce something great for sure ! I'm a culinary photographer based in Geneva, If I ever swing by London you'll be the first place I go to ! Best wishes
Canary Wharf - woof
You will always have your talent, friendship, team-building skills and many other intangibles to fall back on. The rest is all "hardware" - it can go away and may feel shitty if it does, but you never want to wake up and look in the mirror and whisper "if only". Best of luck great success!
I past in front not long ago. I was wondering what restaurant it was going to be, I NEVER imagined being you guys. I cannot wait to come!
I run a private estate in the BVI and the Chef and I always chat about these guys and their food. Inspirational and talent it’s a good combo. All the best with the new gaff
Massive congrats on what you have achieved folks! You will absolutely smash this no doubt....
Amazing u guys are unreal good luck lads no doubt use will smash it
Good luck with this guys let your skills and food speak for itself, the rest will come!
You’ll smash it chaps
Best of luck in your new endeavor, I have confidence it will succeed just like Fallow has!!! I only wish I could come to London to enjoy it.
Team work makes the dream work.
You guys are such a inspiration
Best of luck gents
You boys are the business, cant wait for the new place
This is going to be amazing!! Can't wait to some and visit 😮🤩
One of the most important views, realistic outlook on the hospitality, sustainability in this industry. Hugely inspiring. Good luck team.
Good luck guys ~ looks like I’ll have a new place to visit next time I’m in London!!
Great eating a very delicious meal at the restaurant 🍚🍲 But i can't forget home ,i need to save money every day to be able to go home my country and come at list every year ,it mean alot for me than eating the biggest beef 🍖 at the restaurant , it reminds me those i was working as a delivery guy i eat everything and the company pay 😄😄😄 delicious 😋 ,but to be able to return home every years i need to eat the same food all the time rice🍚😭😭😭 😄😄😄 ,lovely
Hard work always pays off, wish you the best.
why a new name , new style of food ? gonna cook your beef biryani this weekend, cant wait
luve the mentality. good luck!!
i worked 4 years in Canary wharf in a restaurant, the owner slowly slowly went bankruptcy cuz there was no need for dinner there, after 4pm people go home and the whole area was empty
Its less than 10 mins from Liverpool St and 17 mins from Tottenham Court road, plus Canary Wharf has massively pivoted to residential. Times are changing.
"WHAT THE F**K ARE WE DOING?"
- that'll be ye olde CLICKBAITING ;)
goodluck boys!
Wish you well people. My only comment would be you no longer look independent, you are now in the corporate world, but if that pays the bills ,hey ho.. Opening a new unit is fraught with problems but I always got a great buzz out of it. all the best
Is the new site replacing the current site or is it additional?
I love this. I had a lovely charred romaine in Tennessee called 'romaine is burning' from a restaurant that no longer exists so I just make my own. Perhaps you can do one
soul and being british goes hand in foot
Keep up the great work guys - hoping I get the chance to travel to the UK to visit you and enjoy tasting what I enjoy watching....
good luck boiiiiis shout out to bolton who are ya :D
Good luck Guys, I'm sure you'll nail it! 🙂😋😎❤

So ready for Roe ❤️
Is that the name of the new one? Beautiful
Sounds like it'll be seafood focused.
Keep putting truth on the plates and you can’t go wrong.
I feel these guys are getting a bit high on their own supply.
Awesome, you guys gonna smash it.
Does James like to ask himself questions?
Yes
😆
