Arkonite Defense Crystal is one of the craziest defensive cards ever printed, I think even by itself 2 copies is a very strong defensive option for decks that don’t even play starships.
the Starship Piece keyword feels like a nerf for the card bcos of the way they work, but hey maybe slow decks will start playing with 6 board slots from now on 😅
@@marleonka. the dk combo with yoddler is already built into the rouge starship since you get 2. if you just use one of each available star piece dk gets a 9/10 while rogue gets 2 13/13 units using the same
The slander on warlock starship, 2 pieces, 5/5 cast spell heal 10 and have a lifesteal body, perfect support for whatever your actual wincon is, basically a panic button
I dont think you're being fair to the DK one, it will probably work out as one of the best starships when the meta is slower - but its completely useless until reno is rotated out
I don't think hunter starship is a win condition. biopod hits a random enemy and to summon starship and yodeler would cost 9 mana so you can't clear board before doing it. The win condition would be midrange, summon this mid to late game, and either have it stick or combo on turn 9 when you have board advantage.
Alternatively, get a big starship and then hope you get lucky and hit face with it. I don't think random removal is worth the amount of effort otherwise.
I mean the whole idea is you fight for board all game because you're hunter and you do literally nothing else and then your 12+ attack biopod starship only needs to go face 2 times out of a possible max of 8 like thats just how its already gone the expansion has been out for like a full day already
Starships is a bad mechanic tbh considering you can silence, hex, reno, steal or just kill it with 9000 different ways. Also people seem to ignore the fact that you will die to big spell mage by turn 5.
Dies to Doomblade is, and always will be, a terrible argument against the success of a card. Don't get me wrong, you'll definitely have games where Reno hits your ship and you just lose, but saying it'll suck just because of that is foolish.
Yeah, people are talking like it's op after watching videos of that one time when game last like 20 turn and rogue summons like 4 40+/40+ ship that does billion things when in reality you just die or win before reaching that point. Starship should be evaluated at 2-3 piece strength not 15+ piece strength.
Why? There are a ton of cards that are very strong in theory, but are bad because they are slow and expensive enough to be removed efficiently (like Cornelius Roame)
You are like "If you assemble all 12 pieces of the puzzle the starship is crazy" and then talking about Warlock you go "You are never go assemble all 12 pieces of the puzzle it's ass"
Oh, you have a 13/16 minion with all keywords imaginable? Unfortunately it gets poofed. Trash mechanic, never try something new again blizzard, just print the 12th good druid set in a roll already But in all seriousness, I think it's a fun mechanic to have around for 2 yearsvin standard. It is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too slow for wild but eh, still looks fun to play around with stuff like the Dane rogue package
Starship pieces are bad because none of them have Battlecries so there's one Rush guy and everything else does nothing when you play it without more commitment
Why would they have battlecries? They wouldn't work with a ship. That also doesn't make any sense thematically. You don't need them anyway since you can use Battlecry cards like yodeler you can trigger death rattles. Starships might have different problems though.
1) yes, I know why they don't have Battlecries, that still makes them bad 2) they designed the ship if they wanted they could make it trigger Battlecries when you launch it
It's not that starships are bad, is that the whole rest of the fucking game is stupidly overtuned. Why try to build anything when everything can be removed so easily? You just play the thing that can be an inmediate treath for the less amount of mana and cards possible, the amount of threath is irrelevant cause it's gonna be removed anyways. You just force your opponent to use a removal until they run out of. That's modern Hearthstone

Yeah it's a craaaazy card

"The DK Starship pieces look really bad on their own", but also says "eh, its like okay but pretty mediocre" about the Rouge 5 mana 4/3 with no text
Rogue uses the starship pieces the best since you get two
@markcole2040 You still play a 5 mana 4/3 with no text
@marleonka. Two copies is two copies. You can copy druid starship effects. It's about risk and reward.

@markcole2040 you know starship can trigger itself right.
The slander on warlock starship, 2 pieces, 5/5 cast spell heal 10 and have a lifesteal body, perfect support for whatever your actual wincon is, basically a panic button
I still play piloted shredder in wild :(

you;re telling me you make it to turn 10 ever? in what world

POWERPOINT TIME BABYYYYYY LETS FUCKINGGGG GOOOOOOOOOOO
imagine you get displacer from 3 mana crown( marin treasure)
Im also playing starship hunter actually, got two biopods and two of the discover cards in my first few packs.
I want to hope that the BTD6 music that plays is indicative of what kind of mood Flare is in. Speaking of which please BTD5 music next🥺🥺🥺
Can you add a "nothing to scoff at" counter to your videos?
shaman, priest and paladin?
why would they be in this video... the don't have starships?
@FlareIsGone just hope there's part 2 in this expansion including the warrior
I got didra as my guaranteed legendary 😓
You are like "If you assemble all 12 pieces of the puzzle the starship is crazy" and then talking about Warlock you go "You are never go assemble all 12 pieces of the puzzle it's ass"
even if you do assemble them it still is awful :(
Well, so far the worst one is the druid one and the dh one just doesnt exist
inset "suffocation" video totally ruined this
i wish suffocate is a better card to support starship dk
greetings
one piece content when?
I've been toying with making a luffy video for a while I just don't know how to go about it

Reno Lone Ranger was a mistake that will only hurt card design in wild in the long run.
Starship pieces are bad because none of them have Battlecries so there's one Rush guy and everything else does nothing when you play it without more commitment
battlecry piece would suck tho since launching doesnt trigger it
The hunter one is decent since it attacks an enemy whenever it spawns
Why would they have battlecries? They wouldn't work with a ship. That also doesn't make any sense thematically. You don't need them anyway since you can use Battlecry cards like yodeler you can trigger death rattles. Starships might have different problems though.

Sooo… every non battlecry card is bad?
