ภัทร หนุ่มทะเล้น กากเกรียน และ ปราณ หนุ่มเนี้ยบ มาดคุณชาย ผู้ที่ถูกฟ้าลิขิตให้เป็นศัตรูกันตั้งแต่ยังไม่เห็นหน้า เพราะพ่อแม่เปิดร้านอุปกรณ์ก่อสร้างอยู่ข้างกัน แข่งกันตัดราคา แย่งลูกน้อง เกลียดกันชนิดไม่เผาผี ทำให้ทั้งคู่ถูกวางตัวเป็นคู่แข่งกันตั้งแต่เกิด ไม่ว่าใครคลานได้ก่อน เดินได้ก่อน เรียกพ่อแม่ได้ก่อน ทุกอย่างล้วนถูกเอามาเปรียบเทียบเกทับกัน
แต่วันหนึ่งตอนที่ทั้งคู่อายุ 12 ปี กำแพงความเกลียดชังของทั้งคู่ก็เริ่มมีรอยร้าว เมื่อ ภา น้องสาวของภัทรขี่จักรยานพลัดตกน้ำในคลองหมู่บ้าน ระหว่างที่ภัทรยังทำอะไรไม่ถูก เป็นปราณที่กระโจนลงน้ำไปช่วยภาขึ้นมา เหตุการณ์นั้นก็ทำให้ความสัมพันธ์ของคนทั้งคู่เปลี่ยนไป แม้ภายนอกจะดูเป็นคู่แข่งกันเหมือนเดิม แต่ลึกๆ ข้างในก็ไม่เกลียดชังกันเท่าเดิม
จน ม.3 อาจารย์ให้ทั้งคู่ฟอร์มวงดนตรีด้วยกัน ทำให้ทั้งคู่ต้องใกล้ชิดกันมากขึ้น
4 ปีต่อมา โชคชะตาก็เล่นตลกเมื่อส่งให้ ภัทร เข้าเรียนปี1 เป็นประธานรุ่นฝั่งวิศวะ ขณะที่ ปราณ เป็นประธานรุ่นคณะสถาปัตย์ โดยที่ทั้ง 2 คณะเป็นคู่แค้นกันมานาน ทำให้ภัทรและปราณต้องกลับมาตีกันอีกครั้ง เมื่อภารู้เรื่อง ก็วีนแตก ยื่นคำขาดห้ามภัทรทำร้ายปราณเด็ดขาด เพราะบุญคุณที่เคยช่วยไว้ ทำให้ภัทรไปขอทำข้อตกลงกับปราณว่าจะแอบแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล เพื่อหาทางหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ให้ทั้ง 2 คณะทะเลาะกัน ปราณเองก็ไม่ชอบมีเรื่องเลยยอมตกลง
ทำให้ทั้งคู่เริ่ม “ความสัมพันธ์แบบลับๆ” ที่จะเป็นเพื่อนก็ไม่ใช่ ศัตรูก็ไม่เชิง แต่บันเทิงใจคนดู
สุดท้ายแล้วมิตรภาพบนความขัดแย้งของภัทรและปราณจะไปสิ้นสุดที่ตรงไหน ความลับจะแตกลงเมื่อไหร่ พ่อแม่จะยอมรับหรือไม่ หรือสุดท้ายจะมีวันที่ความขัดแย้งคลี่คลายหรือไม่

Letting Nanon do a BL ROLE together with one of his bestfriend Ohm is the best thing that happened! They both compliments each other a lot, the chemistry between them is insane and it just shows how good they are as an actor.
Agree, their acting skills boost the standard of the BL series to a higher level which I've never seen in BL Thailand
I care nothing about Bad Buddy but their great chemistry and skill. I feel so lucky to be with them at this time.

I gotta appreciate that small detail at 7:26. Pat notices that the door sign was flipped to a sad face. He knew what to expect when Pran opened the door and changed his mind to accommodate how Pran was feeling. Then his game plan was to cheer him up. I really appreciate these small details. They actually feel like big gestures in a relationship - which are quite relatable, if I do say so myself. So cute!

Sure, I noticed. I always notice that anal retentive sign. So unwelcoming, living at someone's whims that way. Did you also notice how he walked off and left Pat there by himself? Nothing cute about that. And then in the next scene how he tries to trick Pat into thinking nothing would come of meeting him on the rooftop or how Pat did the noble thing (which he probably was going to do anyway) and saved Pran's ass. Yeah, the anal retentive sign is so disgustingly cute. Great artistic detail on the part of the writers, but as soon as I saw that sign, trust me the last thing on my mind was cute. It was freaking adorable how Toto responded when Pat saved their asses. I've said before, Pat is a better man than I, to pursue someone so closed off in so many ways, and before anybody gives me all the reasons, ask yourself who you'd rather have as a boyfriend or even just a friend. Great writing and acting, but Pran is a prick.

Everyone in the chats is ignoring the feelings that Pat felt towards the end of the episode, I am re-watching this show and it made me cry again. Yes, initially it was a joke teasing to make each other jealous but he felt really bad that the guitar he kept for years was given to Wai just like that(although we know the reason behind it).. the sound effects are add-ons to my sadness! People have been talking about Nanon's eye expressions but forgot to notice Ohm here as he didn't say a single word but he showed it all through his eyes and being the expressive one yet he didn't say anything hurtful to Pran... I love them
Finallyyyyy finallyyy I found the comment I was looking for, they should've added some scenes of pran convincing pat in the next part of the episode but noooo- I'm so mad that they just showed that pran called him when that guy quit and I could feel pat's pain behind that "if he didn't quit the play would you still want to see me" 😭 they still had the chance to make pran clear the misunderstanding but they didn't I'm so mad . The scene about them making each other jealous at the wanton noodle place would normally hit bad for me, because I hate the trope where two people who are into each other try to do that shit and they end up hurting the people they are using. But the best thing about this scene is that the peolple they are with have no risk at being hurt lmao Ink has already been clear about how she thinks of them both as just friends and Wei is just a pal. So it's like them messing with each other, while KNOWING they are messing with each, and Wei and Ink are just oblivious.

I think Wai is kinda toxic to this moment. For example:
1. When he accidently hit Pa at the hallway, he immediately get angry, if Pa wasn't pretty, he would have an argument with the person, and use his fist, (just like usual) !!
2. When his (best) friend, Pran didn't agree to help him, he would tell how miserable he is to force Pran do the job (pitiness)
I don't relly know which kind of a person Wai is until the last minute so we'll just wait and see.

I don't like his character tbh he's manipulative (gaslighting Pran) and the fight between the two faculties was merely because he couldn't accept the fact that his favorite football team didn't win and immaturely gave middle finger to people he didn't even know
i knoww he's so toxic. he knows his place that he should be careful because he's not that rich but he keeps making problems for pran to fix. Just like the fight on the waiting area and rebuilding it. Now he's guilttripping pran to do his job, obviously he wants pran to be guilty so that pran will do it for him. Wai already has a lot of problems but he keeps adding more which is affecting so much to the people arround him.

I can't begin to describe how genuinely I am enjoying this because it's not just another cringe, fetishizing, plotless drama but actually takes time to properly build the characters and plot (even tho it uses all those cliche bl scenes this drama executes it so well) plus the chemistry and acting skills are just on another level
Yesss this. I love this series for exactly this reason. It's not yet another stereotype-filled, cringe, only-making-out, no real plot line kinda drama, no offense to many other BLs that do that. This is a well made drama with all the right things- great acting, good cinematography, and an actual plot. I absolutely love this.
Fr, the fetish in Bl dramas always bothers me a lot but Bad Buddy has none of that, its just a beautiful story of two people falling in love.

I really enjoy this series because so far as much as I love bl series, this is the only one (IMO) that shows me NO awkwardness, the acting is really good and I can feel that both actors are really comfortable with each other. The emotions and the way they express is so amazing that I can't get enough. I've been really craving for this ever since I saw the trailer and I've not been let down. In fact, I can proudly say that this is the BEST thai bl series that I've watched(and I've watched plenty) so far. Some actors in other series just feels stiff to me and they just seemed (restrained?), I can't put my finger on it, but Bad Buddy really showed me what good quality a show can give.
