Michael Bradley you can mix in additives to the water like hold tight 102 which cleans the surface of contaminates and typically keeps the steel from rusting for a few days.
This is actually interesting to me. I used to sandblast and media blast for a living. I used to _love_ cleaning up after that. So does the fact there's water reduce the possibility the aluminum will warp?
Not really sure how I ended up here, and why TH-cam recommended this to me. But I want one of these now. Fantastic product honestly speaking.
I need a small one for personal use.
would this be good for blasting off rust on old panels ? to be more specific cooling tower blasting .
But wouldn't the water cause rust to come back quicker?

@@sonacphotos they put a rust inhibitor in with it and it last for 72 hours
@@sonacphotos and it get all the way to metal no sanding needed
Интересно с каким давлением и подачей воздуха работает компрессор И какой коэффициент ижекции?
So, is it just a water jet? Is there any particles in there? glass?
Moo Moo Puppy usually, its glass but you can use quarz sand or whatever fine media actually
No this is not waterjetting this is much lower pressure , its wet blasting
Where can I buy a blast nozzle like that? I have a wet blasting unit I just can’t find that nozzle
This is so handy
when you say 18mil do you mean the coating is 18mm thick? cause if so thats some thick ass paint
Mil is a different measurement unit, it's 1000th of an inch. 18 mils is about .5mm.

So does the fact there's water reduce the possibility the aluminum will warp?
yes, heat is not generated with water blasting so you will not warp metal or aluminum.
How does it work on, say, an old Corvette body? Is it more likely to leave the gel coat intact than plastic media?
Usualy when i see this dustless blasting equipment, they use crushed glas. Does it work with quarz sand?
media for wet blasting can be any media that sinks in water and does not dissolve.
I use silica for most jobs
nice! how different is this from hydrojetting?
With Hydrojetting or UHP blasting you do NOT create surface profile

Nice equipment but how is this new technology? Wet slurry blasting has been out since the 1900s!
Thermal metal spray
Slurry blast in a shipyard haha yah no thanks
Only Trump is better at media blasting.
