Theme: “Eco-Clubs for Mission LiFE”
The mentor Smt. Myanbeni Kithan, G/T (English) B.A (Edu) / B.Ed, gave brief introduction and emphasized the purpose of organizing this program on intellectual development of students which includes the ability to think critically to solve problems and the assumption of personal and group responsibility
The topic of activity for the day: “Fostering Environmental Responsibility in Children” (Paper bags making / Understanding the benefits of using paper bags / Distribution) was chosen in order to encourage and motivate the students to think creativity and propose solutions to our environmental problems.
During the activity, students learnt to make paper bags out of wastage-papers, and distributed the finished products to the nearby shops. The students also understood the benefits of using paper-bags, as well as shared the same to the shopkeepers.
The activity in-charge, Smt. Myanbeni Kithan, also showed a demo of paper making to the students and the teachers present monitored and facilitated the students in the process. All the teachers and the students of class 4 to 8 energetically participated in the exercise.

a. Old newspaper / waste papers b. Cardboards c. Scissors
d. Ruler e. Pencil f. Glue (Maida/flour)
