Date: 5th June 2024
Plantation of Fruit plants, Ornamental plants and flowers in the school campus was organized on 5th June 2024. Before the plantation drive, school Youth & Eco-Club teacher in-charge Smt. M. Abeni Murry (GT) highlighted the importance of organizing such event in the school and the benefits that we draw from our environment and also talks about the brief history of World Environment Day campaign. The teaching staffs along with 60 students have participated with full energy. Some of the saplings were procured from the nursery at Dimapur while some were donated by the SDO civil Ralan.
Planting fruit trees, ornamental plants and flowers in the school helps beautify the community. They not only enrich the students and residents’ lives, they also enrich the earth that they now inhabit.
At the outset, the program activity wrapped up smoothly with vote of thanks by the Youth & Eco-Club Teacher In-charge followed by refreshment.
